A 1983 Micheal Mann film set in Romania, 1942, where a detachment of the German Army is sent to guard a mysterious Romanian citadel located on a strategic mountain pass. When soldiers begin to be mysteriously murdered, the SS arrives to deal with what is thought to be partisan activity. What the SS finds, however, is an evil force trapped within the Keep and a force which will do anything in order to escape. Music by Tangerine dream.Complete playlist below.

Just watched it, not bad, I think I've seen it before probably back in 83, LOL!

Yeah, i remember seeing it in the early eighties and remember an atmosphere to it from a child's perspective-effects are dated but it's not so much about 'effects'.I've always found the war scenario coupled with supernature fascinating as if they're fundamentally linked which i am now inclined to believe through extra dimensional forces and their influences.
