Last night on Coast to Coast AM a suggestion was given to use the search engine ixquick.com as they have stated that they do not record IP addresses.

I'm wondering, though, how much is already collected through our browsers and shot back to whomever that we don't know about. I have AVG in the expensive internet version and am amazed at how often one of the programs on my computer wants to communicate with a server outside my computer.

It wouldn't surprise me that even if the search engine didn't record it, that a record of it exists somewhere.
