Ok then ...

I am in E. Tenn ... and in the evening recently there is an astonishingly bright object that moves across the southern sky.

Does anyone know if this is the ISS? It does not twinkle like a star.

Any clues?

Gran

Hi Granny, and welcome to the forum.
You need to go to Sky & Telescope .com, sign up ( it's free) and use their Satellite Transit Tracker, just put in your location coordinates, ( if you don't know them, look up your address on Google Earth, the coordinates will be on the bottom of the page)
You can also download Stellarium, it's a free download, again put in your location and the time, and it will display all of the natural objects in the sky in real time.
Enjoy;
