The global economic slowdown means 100 million more people in developing countries will remain poor, the World Bank says.

Not to mention the millions in developed countries who will slip into poverty.

Am I missing something here? What's wrong with being poor?
The reason the world is in such a mess is because of people spending money like fools.
The happiest man I've ever met lived on a tiny island in Indonesia and earnt £1 a day, he lived in a corrugated iron shed with his wife and two small children and was as happy as could be. I'd swap my life for his in a second :original:
