A SCHOOLBOY has captured eerie footage of what he claims is a ghost striding towards banisters at his home.



Terrified Reece Pitman, 12, heard whistling — and used his mobile to film the shadowy being.

It came days after his nine-year-old sister complained that someone was mysteriously finishing her jigsaws at night.

The lad showed the amazing footage — which must be seen to be believed — to mum Tonia, 38.

She said: “Reece looked scared witless.

“In the clip a white shadow appears from my bedroom followed by the dark image of a man.




"It crosses the landing and disappears when it reaches the banisters.”

Tonia, of Solihull, Birmingham, said she consulted a psychic who told her the ghost could be friendly.


Sales assistant Tonia said: “I’ve had a tough time recently as my husband left me. I didn’t believe in ghosts — but I’m thinking of the spectre as my guardian angel.”


Julian Banks of the British Paranormal Society said the film was “potentially the best image of a ghost in years”.

I believe in ghosts, they are usually those who have decided for whatever reason not to cross over to the otherside. Sometimes they are driven by possession ie., this house is mine, or they turned their back on the family that came for them.

I believe and know that the spirit world is different levels. Working with angels/higher plane guides/beings your on a much higher frequency than say the spirit world. nothing wrong with that, those that have done wrong or aren't that good are on the lower levels. I don't believe in 'hell'.

I think shamans have names for these different areas. I've seen the lower levels, I've actually carried out a soul retrievel for someone, very interesting!

I like the sun newspaper, it's a kind of fun/horror thing for me, once you get past the models, and some of the stories about animals i can't read. however they do pick up on things that other newspapers dismiss those are the interesting stories :)

Have anyone heared of the voice recordings from the spirit world? now that will blow your socks off seriously!! hee hee!

That poor kid must have been completely spooked!
It's very clear, the clearest i have seen on a video.

We lived in many haunted houses as a kid, brought up with ghosts you might say.
My sister had a photo taken of myself and her and my brother in the garden back in the 60's when we got the photo developed a man was standing behind us with his arms linking across out shoulders and smiling as though he should have been there with us. We never found out who the guy was no one in the family reconised him as any lost family member so i guess he just popped in the photograph because he thought it was a cool thing to do.

We also had a piano in the living room when i was a kid, it used to play by itself until one day my dad was so fed up with being woken up in the middle of the night he took a hammer to it smashed it up and burnt it in the garden.
It went quiet for a while then, the doorbell started ringing late at night instead. There was never anyone there!
Our resident ghost was obvioulsy pi...d off that his piano was demolished!

wow, that's so cool about the guy in the photo :) I do know with pictures especially digital ones you can ask the spirit world (family members/friends) to come and show themselves and they are happy to do that!

I always remember that scene from six sense when the mum is looking at the boy's photo's and seeing orbs there, so true and cool! :)

I've seen dark shadow and knew it was my nanna, right height and shape, she rushed from upstairs to hear my dad laugh :) it does take alot of energy for them to come to this plane though.

I've also felt them touch me, doesn't scare me at all. You usually find if there is a oppressive energy (someone who doesn't want to go to the spirit world) there is usually a pure light being around, most cases children, to balance the energy and to protect.

I've seen literally my cat before she went off to the spirit world. I see orbs all the time, sometimes they are from people here or over there. I trust the knowing inside as to who it is :)

Welcome sunlite,you have now become one of the initiated lol!
This used to freak me out as a kid, my sister was always seeing things, she's the medium of the family.
Had so many experiences in this field but have now moved on.
Yes orbs can be seen all the time, great story about your grandmother.
I think as we all move into this new age of discovering ourselves much more will be seen, those from the astral will be making themselves more visible to us.
Things will become so chaotic i feel the humans here will go slightly mad over it all.
