Re: Plan Introduced by Congressman to Wipe Out IRS Quote

Rep. John Linder (R-Ga.) has introduced legislation that would end the income tax and abolish the IRS, replacing them with a state-administered sales tax on all goods and services. The bill, titled the Fair Tax Act of 2009 (HR 25), already has 44 cosponsors.

H.R. 25:
111st CongressThis is a bill in the U.S. Congress originating in the House of Representatives ("H.R."). A bill must be passed by both the House and Senate and then be signed by the President before it becomes law.

Bill numbers restart from 1 every two years. Each two-year cycle is called a session of Congress. This bill was created in the 111st Congress, in 2009-2010.

The titles of bills are written by the bill's sponsor and are a part of the legislation itself. GovTrack does not editorialize bill summaries.

2009-2010 Fair Tax Act of 2009

To promote freedom, fairness, and economic opportunity by repealing the income tax and other taxes, abolishing the Internal Revenue Service, and enacting a national sales tax to be administered primarily by the States.

The majority of bills and resolutions never make it out of committee. [Last Updated: Feb 14, 2009 2:08PM]

I believe his deal was to abolish the Federal Reserve. Getting rid of both the Fed and IRS would be nice.

It's not the first time they've tried. Maybe it'll have better luck this time. In case you think that the money collected is used to provide any services, or that you will lose services, think again. All the money is used to pay interest. See link:

Blessings Dan,

YES,

Ron Paul wants the IRS DEAD!

Abolish the IRS and stop them from raiding your paycheck. That’s right, END THE IRS COMPLETELY: NO MORE INCOME TAX! Is your money really yours when the government can keep as much of your paycheck as they want? Ron Paul doesn't think that the government should own you or YOUR MONEY!

"By the way, when I say cut taxes, I don't mean fiddle with the code. I mean abolish the income tax and the IRS, and replace them with nothing." -Ron Paul

And when people decide NOT to pay their taxes, the government hunts them like animals.

Definitely not worth the risk.

It looks like people are finally waking up. The United States should not be so controlled by a private power.

The Corrupt Powers That Be have Awakened a Sleeping Giant Worldwide. The problem, as I see it, is that black projects may be eating up so much money, and the PTB may be in such deep do-do...that efforts to end the corrupt wars and money systems...will be a fight to the death. Just conjecture. It's sort of like a rent a cop going after a 'shoplifter' who actually is wanted for grand theft auto, bank robberies, murders, etc...and will fight to the death to keep from being detained. We may be dealing with a very, very desperate bunch of people. All I know is that the Federal Government needs to drastically downsize...and the Individual States need to step up to the plate...and exercise ALL of their constitutional roles and responsibilities...while subjecting the Federal Government to unprecedented scrutiny and discipline. The whole City-State mess needs to be closely examined...especially because Washington DC is one of the three city-states...and may not be under the U.S. Constitution...or even be part of the United States of America. This country(and world) has been hijacked...and we the people have been cowering at the back of the bus...but things are changing. Just a thought...if Washington DC is not part of the U.S. and is not under the U.S. Constitution...why are they telling us what to do? It's sort of like taking orders from the guy who lives across the street. Who's on first?

ABOUT TAXES AND MORE:

Aaron Russo: "I set out on a journey to make a film about whether or not there was a law requiring Americans to pay an income tax...or was the tax a fraud being perpetrated by the American government. This process of discovery brought something much more dangerous and frightening to my attention...now, I will bring it to yours."

This film not only puts the legalities of the IRS and the Federal Reserve into question, but it also reveals the carefully concealed oligarchy of elitists and globalists whose main goals include financially enslaving society by creating a world order of manufactured consent devoid of individuality and freedom -- much like the former Soviet Union.

PS: If you really care about America, and want your taxes to go towards your country, rather than rich fat cats operating out of foreign countries draining your hard earned tax dollars, this film won't disappoint.
