Saw something odd today

Saw something in the sky today. I'm not sure what it was but it looked like a streak that just stayed in the sky and didn't move as I was driving along the highway. At first, I thought it was a vapor trail from a plane but it was too short.

All I know is that it had my attention as I was driving.
