Hi Everybody,

It looks as though ingenuity does not fit too well into the vocabulary of the US presidential staff who hiked off down to Blockbuster to find a last minute gift for British Prime Minister, Gordon Brown.

I still am not sure of the connotations of Browns' gift to Obama considering that Obama is an African descendent. But that's another debate.

Read the British press' take on it:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1159627/To-special-friend-Gordon-25-DVDs-Obama-gives-Brown-set-classic-movies-Lets-hope-likes-Wizard-Oz.html

In the meantime, Hillary was doing her bit with the Russians:

And I thought the British had a strange sense of humour!

Best regards,

Steve

Yes,
I noticed that also Steve,
makes one wonder what's going on here?
I doubt Obama, would condone something this blantant in shabby diplomacy
or manners> without a reason? Still, there is never a good reason nor excuse for poor manners

People actually read too much into this stuff.

They're just gifts.
