At least seven people are killed as a man goes on a shooting spree in the southern US state of Alabama.

Unfortunately as the economy worsens this type of thing could become more and more common as people go "postal". They do not know how to cope with the stresses of modern living and the possibilty of not knowing where your next meal is coming from or where they are going to sleep tonight.
