OK I see a lot of them require that you are a US citizen, but not all.

scanner, the trick here in the US is just to be able to find a job....period!
Then worry about lay-offs later. If you can get in a good field then you really don't have much to worry about, and any government job has excellent benefits and a good retirement also.
I found one that I'm qualified for in electronics paying 35 dollars an hour, which isn't bad but I would have to move to Alaska, which isn't going to happen! LOL!
I think Obama said something about helping the economy by adding thousands of government jobs and not excepting lay-offs in that sector, but who knows really I guess, LOL!

Hi no offence ment, I checked out the jobs in the UK from your link, but the trick here is too look 35 or under, its a bit hard when one is tad over ( very ageist here ) and the amount of youngens coming out of work here is growing daily. I wish I could get paid for playing golf thats where I will be spending most of my time , 4:mfr_lol:

HaHa, I know you didn't mean anything by that, and I hear you about looking 35 or under! I'm about 10 years past that, LOL!, hopefully they'll equate age with experience!
