Hi Jacqui, please thank Antale for this news brief.

In our area, the most restrictive bylaw bans feeding birds in the back yard.

I don't smoke anymore but I find this regulation somewhat ridiculous. You are more likely to breathe in second hand smoke on the balcony while your neighbours are smoking up a storm outdoors.

Hi Sunflower i will pass that on to Antaletriangle, yes all these restrictions makes the big brother scenario more likely, i do not smoke myself but this is an infringment on your life i feel, if people wish to smoke so be it that's what i say and like the guy said in the video with all the poisons in our atmosphere just who is poisoning who!!!
I can not believe the bird feeding ban, i feed my birds everyday in the back garden they look for their food, since i started this in the winter i have brought back the birds.
Since last summer i hardly heard or saw a bird around which was strange because i live in a rural setting and this just isn't heard of.
Now they are back and i would hate not hear the morning chorus life would not be the same without our wildlife.

Full disclosure, I smoke and am trying to quit. I try to be as far away from others as possible when I smoke and I often do not smoke at all because I do not want to force my smoke on others. The thing is TPTB don't seem to know what they want. First no smoking in restaurants, then in bars and clubs, then some cities have banned smoking outdoors period, now another city wants you to only smoke outdoors. I think ultimately they will try to ban smoking completely. I'm not a fan of anyone forcing me into choices because then it's obviously not a choice and pushes me in the opposite direction. It's like prohibition. We all know how that went. I don't think this one will be a win for anyone no matter how it all winds up.

As i have said before i don't smoke but it's just the whole control thing this really gets me you can't do this you can't do that.
This agenda is being pushed rapidly day by day, i have never smoked but it
bl......dy wants me to start just to prove something to them.
I know smoking isn't good for you so do most smokers but isn't it up to us to stop if the smoker is not causing smoke to be inhaled by non smokers what's the problem!

Here is a video from Oneballradio stating exactly what i mean.
