My dull little town

I live in a quiet little town outside of Los Angeles, in a valley surrounded by mountains.
On my way to work this morning...I noticed a BLACK helocopter...Now I know what the emergency and police copters look like as they land a block from my work all the time.
This was a completely black one :mfr_omg:
The thing I noticed about it was it was searching for something. We have a wash running through the valley...is rather large, wide and dry..no water...just brush mostly.
It was running from one end of town to the other..and at this moment I just went outside, and there it is again....this time much higher in the air...but running the wash...and an occasional circle.
I've seen the Police copters searching before...and it is nothing like this one...strange huh?
Any ideas what they might be looking for?
I will keep an eye on it today and see how long it continues...but I must tell you, this is a rather boring little town...not much happens here..we did have a bear in the wash which we relocated to the Angelse Crest forest..but this is different.

Just noticed..there is another one....running the wash..then circleing the perimiter of the town, coming back to the wash and circleing again ...unusual indeed :shocked:

Of course..when you go out with the intention to take a picture..you cannot find one...I will keep my eyes open though...
I was rather close to one on the way to work..I drove right over the wash.....it was all black, with what looked like tinted window in front...single blade...did not look like the military ones you see..you know the long ones wiht GUNS... just all black, and very low to the ground when I drove over the bridge of the wash...it was right next to me ...that is why it caught my attention...because it was so low....then turned and started running the length of the wash.

As of now I cannot see them any more...but I could just be missing them when I go out...I am taking my phone camera with me though just in case. :thumb_yello:

Update...all gone...but it was very strange..and not the norm for our town...the only reason I shared it was the black color...as they have been seen lurking around the crop circles..but that would not be the case here..there are not that kind of crops in this valley. :nono: and they were looking for something...just what I'm not sure..and it was not the locap Police...much different copters

ohh, i got some pics of those pesky black ( and dark green) buggers. lol

the last time i was taking pics of one...
it was flying straight south, so i got out of the car (parked in a parking lot),
and started taking pics... shortly after it turns right towards me, turns on some kind of light on the bottom, and flew right over my head. lol

i think they get a kick out of 'measly civilians' giving them some camera fame. lol

seriously though...the search copters here are green and yellow...as I said I see them all the time..they come right over my work..the landing pad is a block behind my work....They were very strange looking, and looking for something ...if any of you UFO buffs happen to see a sighting in Valencia California....you'll know what they were looking for :thumb_yello:
I'm just not too sure where to look for recent sightings that are reported.

Just speculating there might have been a sighting..and the black copters were looking around....:shocked:
