Other than the planned shutdown of Guantanamo, I've yet to see any concrete evidence that these steps are being reversed. That's what Rep Bachman is complaining about.

HR 675 (http://projectavalon.net/forum/showthread.php?t=14893), which amends title 10 of the United States Code and extends to civilian employees of the Department of Defense the authority to execute warrants, make arrests, and carry firearms, is definitely a step in the wrong direction. I don't intend this as Obama bashing, we don't need any more of that and I sincerely hope he can turn things around. I'm still waiting to see evidence that the tide has turned. Is there any good news out there?
