China's central bank has reiterated its call for a new reserve currency to replace the US dollar.
The report from the People's Bank of China (PBOC) said a "super-sovereign" currency should take its place.
Central bank chief Zhou Xiaochuan has loudly led calls for the dollar to be replaced during the financial crisis.
The bank report called for more regulation of the countries that issue currencies that underpin the global financial system.

I hope we don't welcome the Amero as a means to save us because it means North American union which means the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights will be obsolete and it will be a step in the direction of the New World Order with its associated tyranny.

Hi Greenberet,
It wouldn't suprise me in the least if the dollar collapsed tomorrow.
The Chinese have been using the dollars that they have to buy commodities, but they can only buy so much.
So now they're harping on about a new currency again. This is also to put added pressure on the US to get it's act together.
I think the new currency will not necessarily be a 'new' currency, but a different currency, like the Yen, for example.
I don't think the Amero will be used for global currency as it will be administered by the same people who are killing the dollar. Who could ever in their right minds trust these people again?
I think that any new currency will be administered by another state or group of states and the US will be put on the back burner, a little like Russia is today, where it has some sort of say in the world, for political reasons.
Let's see how it all turns out.
Best regards,
Steve

China has begun a trial scheme that allows trade with its neighbours to be settled with its own currency, the yuan, also known as the renminbi.
Six Shanghai companies have signed contracts with counterparts in Hong Kong and Indonesia to settle deals in the currency.
It means if the two parties to a trade have yuan available, they need not enter world exchange markets to pay.
Executives said the move would save costs and avert exchange rate risks.

Hi iain140258,
That also doesn't suprise me. Brazil has been trading with Argentina using local currencies for some time now and has even made noises with China for a bilateral trade agreement about using national currencies instead of the US$.
This of course is another possibility for international trade where everybody uses their own currency. Of course there would be needed some sort of mechanism or guarantee that keeps the exchange rates somewhat stable.
i think if we went back to the gold standard, there will be a lot of countries going bust, not just the US, as they would have to have massive deflation to keep in line with their gold reserves. Countries like South Africa and Brazil will become extremely important and countries like the UK will be sent packing if gold was used as a currency guarantor.
Best regards,
Steve

Don't know much about the printing and circulation of money, Maybe China can do it! but im also thinking wouldn't that take a really long time, say 1-yr to really phase out the dollar? Not to mention the rest of the world.

It's looking more like we will have two US currencies:
One for trading domestically and one for trading internationally.
What I'm hearing is that there will not be a dollar collapse, but a financial collapse.
When traveling to a foreign country you would need to exchange your domestic currency for international currency.

They look like Bilderbergers or perhaps members of the 5 factions mentioned by Wilcock. Not sure but they're certainly NOT U.S Presidents.

Ok, the guy on the five is Nelson Wilmarth Aldrich....
Nelson Wilmarth Aldrich 1841-1915, U.S. Senator from Rhode Island, b. Foster, R.I. He rose in local politics as state assemblyman (1875-76) and U.S. Representative (1879-81) before he served as Senator (1881-1911). Aldrich, after the death of Henry B. Anthony, dominated Republican politics in Rhode Island, and because of his wide interests in banking, manufacturing, and public utilities he was popularly considered the spokesman of big business in the Republican party and the nation. After the controversy of 1888 he was the great proponent of protective tariffs and was successful in saving the Payne-Aldrich Tariff Act of 1909 even against the combined opposition of the Democrats and the Progressives. Aldrich did much to strengthen the antiprogressive wing of the Republican party and led the Senate opposition to Theodore Roosevelt's increasingly progressive policies. He took charge of Republican administrative legislation after 1897 and helped force the Silver Republicans out of the party, the Gold Standard Act of 1900 completing the work. Aldrich was deeply concerned with monetary problems, helped shape the Aldrich-Vreeland Currency Act of 1908, and headed the National Monetary Commission to study bank reform. The "Aldrich plan," published in 1911, was not made into law, but it did offer information that was used by the Democrats in setting up the Federal Reserve System.
The 2 Amero bill is none other than J.P. Morgan

There needs to be more action taken by more people if we are to succeed at not getting to that point. Once we reach critical mass of individuals (I don't know what percentage of the public that is) who will refuse to cooperate with the New World Order agenda, we can stop the direction we're going in and redirect it. I don't believe we've reached that critical mass yet.

The face on the 2 dollar bill is J.P.Morgan. I don't believe these are meant to be real. what possible reason could they have for putting his mug on new money? And calling them federal reserve notes? Definitely a joke.

Why not call them federal reserve notes? I doubt they would go through the hassle of changing their name so The Fed would still be in charge of printing the money for the new union. But who knows. Could be some elaborate joke, or something to get people riled up, who knows. Just thought it was interesting.

I think that most people would not accept the replacement of the dollar and that alone could be enough for some folks to not go along. That and mandatory vaccinations.

I don't find the chip-n-pin stuff scary because if they just issue a card that holds your cash on it, it's not much different from a debit card or even a credit card.
We need physical currency though. I think that local currencies are a good way to go but in a more enlightened world, the need for currency would be NIL.

Blessings Nebula,
According to this video (minute 13:44) sent to me by a PA member and I have heard from other sources as well, only 3% of US dollars is in printed paper or minted coin form now. Most money created by the Federal Reserve is digital. So we're pretty much a cashless society already.

QUOTE from the above video:
Debt Slavery PONZI Scheme
"If all the bank loans were paid, no one could have a bank deposit and there would not be a dollar of coin or currency in circulation.
This is a staggering thought. We are completely dependent on the commercial Banks. Someone has to borrow every dollar we have in circulation, cash or credit if the Banks create ample synthetic money we are prosperous; if not, we starve. We are absolutely without a permanent money system. When one gets a complete grasp of the picture, the tragic absurdity of our hopeless position is almost incredible."
