i found this on nasawatch which generally has non biased commentary on nasa. since i have been reading it i have never seen any conspiracy posts by anyone in the comments. it could mean they moderate very closely or it could mean something else.

regardless, i tend to enjoy the comments that are there. it tends to contain posts by insiders and ex nasa. the comments for this post are no exception. apparently there was the promise of a realtime audio feed. someone also noted that the images look nothing like the quality shone in pictures of the honeysuckle and parkes unconverted signals (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apollo_program_missing_tapes). read those and more here (http://www.nasawatch.com/archives/2009/07/is_gsfc_pao_pla.html).

I don't know what all the hype is about, the quality of the videos is still extermely bad and the astronauts were walking with small steps just like on Earth, despite the Moon having a gravity 1/6th of the Earth's or maybe that is not true, who knows?.

It's all a bunch of BULL. Nothing interesting to see in those videos. Everyone here should know they are fake anyway. We'll probably never see the real good stuff, at least from NASA we won't.
