Hi Everybody,
Even though there are no official statistics from the WHO, Brazil is declaring itself world champion for deaths occurring because of H1N1, totaling more than 650 deaths this year.
If the death rate for this illness is around 1%, there must be more than 650,000 ill people in Brazil that no-one has heard about.
Fortunately I'm in the Northeast and away from the great metrópoles. I'll let you all know if the virus comes a little closer to home.
