It’s been reported that on 9/9/09, ground was broken on a $3.4 billion consolidation project, that being the future home of the Department of Homeland Security.
Sen. Lieberman compared the project to the creation of the Pentagon, for which ground was broken on 9/11/41. The senator went on to point out that Pres. Franklin Roosevelt planned the defense consolidation because he knew war was imminent.
Interesting. The attack on Pearl Harbor was not until December of 41.
