HELLO WISCONSIN :toot:

Send Dr. Tim to Washington
NERENZE
2nd District U.S. House of Representatives

My name is Tim Nerenz, and I want to be your Congressman.

I don’t want to be your mommy. I don’t want to be your daddy. And I don’t want to be your doctor, banker, car salesman, landlord, insurance agent, teacher, pastor, union steward, or weatherman.

Whether you are a Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, Independent, or only vote on American Idol, I want to represent you in Congress. Represent, not rule. Whether you are senior citizen or a senior at UW, you should not ask the government for permission to live your life.

Because the overwhelming majority of us just want one thing from our government – to leave us alone.

Quit Talking Stupid

Are you willing to pay $24,762 every year so that everyone gets health care? Then let’s quit talking stupid.

There are 105 million people who work in the private sector - that is where all the money comes from. We spend $2.6 trillion each year on health care, so do the math: that’s $24,762 each if everybody pays their fair share.

If we include public sector workers, the share drops to just under $20,000. I know we pay their salaries, so it doesn’t change anything, but it would be fun to see university professors and Congressmen put their own money where their mouth is for once.

It is nonsense to keep talking about coverage, access, and rights as if health care were free air. Rosa Parks sought access to a seat in the front of the bus; she did not demand that the guy in seat 12A pay for it, and she did not call him a racist for thinking they should each buy their own.

No, Ms. Parks did not talk stupid, like our leaders do. How can we possibly expand coverage to 47 million more people without adding a single doctor, and not have longer waits for appointments? That is talking stupid.

How can we possibly cover all those additional people without increasing taxes or increasing the deficit? That is talking stupid.

The Challenge Before Us

By Adam Kokesh, on Sep 30, 2009

Today is September 30th, a major day for any political campaign. This marks the end of the third quarter of the year for FEC reporting, but even more importantly for us, it is the first time we will be filing a report and posting official numbers for fundraising. For our strategy, this is especially important.

R.I.P. - The London Gold Pool, 1961-1968

Most of the public is still unaware of that the gold price is currently suppressed by governments and central banks in collusion with bullion dealers. Even fewer realize that suppression of the price of gold has plenty of historical precedence. The following is the story of the London Gold Pool.

Originally published June 14, 2009 by Jake Towne

"When gold speaks, all tongues are silent." -*Italian proverb

This article will briefly review the history and aftermath of the infamous London Gold Pool. For those unfamiliar with monetary history, let me quickly establish the events framing the London Gold Pool.

In 1933, the FED's monetary inflation caused the Great Depression which was also America's first bankruptcy. FDR plundered the American people's gold and one month later outlawed the private possession of gold, an illegal act that existed until 1975. From 1933 onwards,*America was on a "gold bullion standard."** A "gold bullion standard" exists when gold coins are not minted and owned by the people, but large international transactions with foreigners are handled in gold bar. However, the FED, America's central bank, continued inflating the monetary supply which debases the currency and likewise increases the foreigner's redemption of gold.
