Been here over a year now and still can't get used to the backwards way the date is set.
e.g 10-25-09
10th of the 25th month???
This is the only forum I used that has the date set the wrong way, is it possible to have the option to set it properly for those of us that like it that way???
Today's date is 25-10-09
Thx Swanny :original:

It's not backwards! It's perfectly normal. :original:
(The first thing you need to know is the month.)

People could type one more character (lazy sloths :lol3:) and type 'oct 25 2009' or '25 oct 2009', this much is true! :original:

But it's only confusing the first 12 days of each month! :lol3:

everywhere, except the USA, the pattern is day/month/year. In USA it is month/day/year.

Thanks Swanny - and an hour 'fell off' today so I was in limbo for 60 mins while the cats thought yippee - lets get up NOW (4.00am) and we thought we had an hours respite....
All this and 9.11 (I still think it was 9th September but no, 11th September)
Totally confusing :wall:

If i was driving in the UK or the other left sided countries, even weirder than the side of the road i'm on would be the side of the car i'd be sitting in! :lol3:
(especially with a manual transmission. And are the pedals reversed as well? )

Then, some of us are composites, like me {sketchy} - close to the US border in ass thumping territory and in the UK Dominion of Canada - like Oz and Kiwi and old India Commonwealth - with mongrel kids, Euro upbringing, formed by the land .... I always mix up the date thing - we Canadians run them both.
It's mixed up.
