The Sacred Geometry of Sound

Sacred Geometry and the Structure of Music

Legend recounts how Orpheus was given a lyre by Apollo. By playing his lyre, Orpheus produced harmonies that joined all of Nature together in peace and joy.

Inspired by this Orphic tradition of music and science, Pythagoras of Samos conducted perhaps the world's first physics experiment. By plucking strings of different lengths, Pythagoras discovered that sound vibrations naturally occurred in a sequence of whole tones or notes that repeat in a pattern of seven.

Like the seven naturally occurring colors of the rainbow, the octave of seven tones — indeed, all of Creation — is a singing matrix of frequencies that can be experienced as color, sound, matter, and states of consciousness.

This correlation of sound, matter, and consciousness is important. For as Stanford physicist William Tiller has proved, human consciousness imprints the space and matter of the universe. It is our intent that gives the direction and quality to Creation.

I believe that this matrix of Creation is waiting for us to sound the most harmonious vibrating chord — to sound the universe itself into a perfect, idealized form.

The Music of Atomic Shapes

The Platonic solids, basic shapes of Sacred Geometry, are five three-dimensional geometric forms of which all faces are alike. And each platonic solid represent one of the five elements of creation, as follows:

Cube — Earth
Octahedron — Air
Dodecahedron — Ether
Icosahedron — Water

These five Platonic solids comprise the alchemical dance of the elements and of Creation itself. My introduction to the spiritual power of sound began with an experience of this truth.

This happened many years ago, when I was studying with Michael Helios — who is for me a reincarnated Atlantean wizard. Helios discovered the musical proportions and corresponding tone scales for each of the Platonic shapes. He even tuned his keyboard to specific frequencies in order to achieve exact proportions.

During his presentations, he would play the scales and geometries of each shape, without disclosing to his listeners which geometric shape he was playing. Participants meditated on each piece as he was playing it, and then described which of the shapes they had experienced.

The results were extraordinary. Every Platonic solid was correctly perceived, felt, and "seen" during each of the five musical meditations. As a participant myself, this was my first experience of realizing the power of musical transmission and its potential to specifically re-order creation.

This is exactly what the ancient mystics and scientists had always been telling us!

The Dodecahedron, the Universe, and the Human Form

When Michael Helios played his five compositions, I was most profoundly affected by the Dodecahedron. This shape can be seen to represent the order of the heavens and also the perfect mediation between the infinite and the finite — the sphere and the cube.

So let us look more closely at this as one example of the sacred geometric forms that permeate Creation. Through seeing the simplicity and complexity of the Dodecahedron in its relationship of shape and sound, perhaps we can intuit the rest. And through understanding our relationship to the Dodecahedron, perhaps we can begin to sense our own place within the Divine Song that is Creation.

The Dodecahedron is comprised of twelve pentagonal faces. It represents the fifth sacred element, the divine potentiality known as "ether."

Considering that the Dodecahedron is made up of five-sided faces, it is fascinating that quantum physics researchers in the US and France have recently concluded that, based upon measurements of cosmic waves left over from the so-called "Big Bang," the universe itself is a Dodecahedron!

Besides the fact that there are five platonic solids and five corresponding basic elements of life, it can be shown that the entire human race is joined in these same basic sacred proportions. For the physical body, with the arms and legs spread, is overlaid by a pentagram, with the fifth point being at the top of the head and the reproductive organs at the exact center.

And each of these points also relates to the number five: five fingers at the terminus of each arm, five toes on each leg, and five openings on the face. Additionally, we each possess five senses of physical perception.

So the Golden Mean proportions of the cosmos and our body temples are closely aligned with the harmony of the musical fifth.

If we can imagine the dodecahedronal-pentagonal shape of this One Song that is the universe, together with the pentagram geometry of the human body, we find inherent in both a divine proportion and a potential for harmonic perfection. The universe and humanity ARE singing geometries. And it is we ourselves who embody the geometry of the cosmos!

Phi and the Musical Fifth

To follow this discussion, we first need to know that the Golden Mean and the Pentagram are closely related. For the angles of the five sides of a Pentagram are at a ratio of exactly 1.618 — the Golden Mean ratio, known mathematically as phi.

The fifth is the interval found in most sacred music, and has a powerful harmonizing effect on the human energy system. It is the first harmonic sounded by a plucked string, and is what gives the note its depth and beauty. Its sacred sound is the hallmark of the Gregorian chant. In fact most divinely inspired music, including some New Age music and that of indigenous cultures, is built around the musical interval of the fifth.

This music-geometry connection is well stated by Goethe, who said, "Sacred architecture is frozen music." The same is true of the "architecture" of the human body.

It was Pythagoras who first described the fifth interval that has come to be universally recognized for its beauty. It is "an archetypal expression of harmony that demonstrates the 'fitting together' of microcosm and macrocosm in an inseparable whole. The fifth is a beautiful sound because it demonstrates how the universe works.

And in building the phi proportions, along with those of the other musical intervals, into the designs of cathedrals and temples, the architects also are building in the effects of the musical intervals upon which the sacred proportions are based.

These effects, immediately experienced as harmonious, powerful, and centering, can be experienced first-hand when one enters a Gothic cathedral or an ancient Egyptian temple. Being inside such a space helps us to access other dimensions of consciousness. It is the same experience that is reached through listening to sacred music.

Thankyou, if people only knew how important these sounds literally are, there is also corresponding shapes. the idea is to flash or 'resonate' the shape so you can see it at the same time you play the sound, we visually see 2000 frames per second you need two thirds (about 1400flashes per second) to overwrite, hope you understand! I am a bit dubious about this because there are 22 types of "humans" in the planet plus Indigos. Something that is good for some, for example reptilians or leviatan types can be damaging to others who have a very different template

I have been told than in Atlantis a similar techology, only a bit more advanced, was put forward and soon after the planet was taken over by the negatives. Apparently the sounds produced bliss but disconected people from their higher aspects at the same time

Bliss can be produced by stimulating certain places in the brain until the crystals in the pineal gland shatter...if that happens the possibilities for ascension are nil

So many things that damage the pineal gland are being put forward it is difficult to know what to try

Anyway, since the illnesses occur because there are distorsions on the template (Kathara grid) of all humans, I doubt there will be permanent healing so: is it worth the risk of using this technology without knowing its origin?

Everything in the universe is in a constant state of vibration, including our bodies. Sound is vibration that can be translated by the delicate structures of our inner ear, but it moves more than just those tiny receptors. It is part of the spectrum of energy vibrations that affect us on the mental, physical, and spiritual levels. Long ago shamans recognized the power of sound when they first used chants and drumming to heal people. In ancient Egypt, Greece, and India, the use of sound and music for healing was a highly developed sacred science. Sonic vibration has been one way of experiencing the energy of the universe for much of humanity’s history.

When the vibrations of our physical and spiritual bodies are out of harmony it can cause disease. Sound healing gently massages the molecules back into the right places, clearing blockages and restoring harmony. Ancient healing systems such as Chinese medicine and Indian Ayurveda associate specific musical notes with subtle-energy systems of the body, such as in yoga where particular notes of music correspond to each of the seven chakras. In Tibet, priests have long used bells and bowls over and around the body to tune and clear the energy centers. Chimes and tuning forks are other tools that have been used to heal not only the body but the energy in a room as well.

Knowing that sound has the power to heal, we should also try to remember that sounds from modern life can have a negative affect. Everything emits a vibration from the food we eat to the oxygen we breath. Our hearts acts as the generator or resonator of frequencies, our mind becomes the conductor which directs which frequencies you choose to reciprocate. The majority of the time this happens at a subconscious level, our mind has little control of the frequencies which is receiving. This creates a disconnect to higher frequencies vibrations which can help us to grow and develop naturally.
Through the solfeggio frequencies and binaural beats we can begin to tune our minds to receive frequencies which are beneficial and essential in our growth process in both dimensions physical and spiritual. Emphasis must be placed on the importance of these frequencies to help ourselves and our environment . This for me has become a defense weapon to reverse the effects of so many harmful frequencies and vibrations in the world we live in.
It is my humble opinion that the use of these frequencies on a daily basis can indeed change our world in a beneficial and positive manner. :thumb_yello:

I used to work in a cd shop selling classical music and jazz. I mainly prefered contemporary classical music and free jazz. A lot of the contemporary composers experiment(ed) with frequencies in their compositions. Most of my clients found the music too 'difficult to understand' and I often tried to tell them to stop wanting to understand, to leave thoughts behind and just feel it, to go with the flow. Most people couldn't, but some tried and got themselves hooked as well :trumpet:

Strange! I had some clients who loved free jazz, but a lot of them were 'out there', some of them even had physical problems... Like I said I love it too! :mfr_omg:... When I went to those concerts I often saw very spirited musicians deeply connected with the improvisations they played or sang. They were in tune with each other telepatically and I felt like I, as an audience member, could join in this conversation without words. For me listening to this music I felt released from my own mental debris... it shook my body open... stuff came out...

It's like a double edged sword, I guess: it can shake your body open after which karma/stuff could be released. If you go too far/too deep (read: too much) at once it will create problems... it's like the ancient Chinese proverb used when someone wants to condemn an enemy: "May all your karma be released within a week". It sounds nice, but your body can't handle that and you'll die an awful death (not good)!

The body is 'open', it needs to rest, to adapt to the excesses of the musical earthquake or incision, you need to balance it with peace(ful music).

For me it's very difficult too listen to extreme free jazz or atonal classical music now. It hurts on a 'chakralogical' level when I listen to it too long :tears: :sad:

This is of course my personal view on and experience with this. I would like to hear other people's stories as well...

I am just curious about these solfeggios. I've been seeing a lot about them on the net... what with that Dr. Horowitz and the love H20 concert that happened last summer.

A few years ago there was an internet user that claimed to have personal contact with a human from the future that they referred to as 'Emit Rekkert'. Sparse info is left on the net about this obscure little story. 'Emit' was said to be a wingmaker and disappeared after a short while.

Before leaving this 'Emit' allowed some music files from his future timeline to be transferred onto the 'net for general download. These are the files linked below.

The music is frequency based. It has a soothing, uplifting effect. Emit cautioned that it can be slightly addictive simply because it is pleasing. If it becomes a craving, stop listening for a while. Emit stated that all music in the future is of this nature.

I make no assertions as to the validity of the story surrounding this music. However the music has been auditioned without explanation and the reaction is always positive. Judge the effects for yourself.

If interested in researching, contacting Tiaka9 (after googling whats available) would be the thing to do. If the Emit Rekkert story is researched, it might lead to the godlikeproductions forum.
