Our society has managed to warp our sense of beauty, twisted into a cloaked image of what beauty truly is.....Love.

Beauty is definitely Love or Goodness. I think beauty is the natural state of everything, but when we use our 5 material senses then as usual we get tricked, and start to see ugliness as well.

This topic reminds me of Laotzu's Tao te Ching and Wu Wei, the ancient Chinese texts, the ancients, as usual, said it best: :naughty:

watching a 7 year old boy, pick out flowers every week...a shy quiet boy...so young, already understands the power of beauty....

Beauty is a sprinkle of God`s works in universe...it is a signature of his being and essence.We being his dear beloved children have same essence because we are of him and thus we appreciate beauty and we are in tune with it when we see it or create it, then we are the closest to our creator.

it is the japanese art of finding beauty in imperfections ...

i have always found beauty, in the aging flowers, in my fridge...some , no longer valued by the consumer...still offer so much beauty!...the way a color fades as it ages on a petal...stunning!!
