*** Sheep Issue appears resolved ***

The Palm Beach County has decided my miniature sheep of 45 pounds are considered livestock instead of pets...I must give them away before January 1st....So I am asking that any Veteran that lives on Agricultural land that wants the couple(M/F) pls contact me FOR FREE...I am WPB,FLA...Pls contact me at e-mail: Samarkis@yahoo.com..........(Put FREE SHEEP in the subject...)

.they were to start a herd for my organic farm community for Young Veterans.....I am very sad about this...

but I will do this again when I have the land......

I can not believe how mean my neighbors are...But I have lived amongst them for 15 yrs and this is what they do to me & my project..........for Shame!!!

Needless to say.....

I will be resigning from my Master Gardening Training Program at the County directly in relation to this...I do not feel like donating 80 hours of my time to an entity that feels this is such an issue....mini-sheep are more pets than livestock......

The sheep are mine...the picture of sheep(Karen's post) is not mine....Mine are miniature shetland sheep....two feet long by 1 1/2 feet tall....40-45 pounds....

Edited:
Here is me in my back yard w/ my mini sheep....apparently my neighbors and county are terrified of them!!

Samarkis,

I will have to find out if this person is a veteran, but I know of a couple in North Florida that raise miniature horses and bring them to hospitals and other events to uplift spirits.

Perhaps they would be interested.

I will let you know by tomorrow hopefully.

Sending them an email now to question them about the possibility of being a veteran.

Here is their website:

Tks PaL for sharing those websites with us here. I could look at those beautiful little horses all day. Don't think I have ever seen a horse with blue eyes. I love all the animals.

Yes and on such people we want to rely in case of TSHTF? These people are the breed we try to elevate and educate? Pfuui!

It is frustrating to say the least....but who really loses??

My sheep will find a loving home....

I will move forward in other projects until my farm is ready....

And I will buy new sheep.....

And who has shown what they are lacking???

I send Light !!

I want to thank all the awesome replies..........many,many thanks!!

I have found a place for the sheep!!!!........some kind individuals have offered their farm for my sheep until I move onto my own farm..........thereby keeping the sheep for my project.........I will be contacting a couple of you that have PM me regarding the sheep as they should lamb new lambs in the next 6 months.........those will be given to the two that asked about these sheep, if they still want them.....

Blessings in light & Love........
