You Tube auto embedding, where did it go?

When the forum went off of subscription the automatic embedding of youtube vids by simply placing the URL of the vid in the post went away. Now all of the posts I have made that have youtube vids as the subjects are just links or even dead links. Would it be possible for the youtube auto embedding to be turned back on?

the following is typed:

1vHRwmFc-1oit should look like this
