In need of a little help

Ok, so this is a dumb question, considering i work with computers for a living you'd think i know but i've never actually added a picture to a post before so i'll ask before i bugger it up and make an ass of myself.

What is the best, quickest and easiest way of getting an image up on here, i got some really cool UFO snaps over new years and i've cleaned them up a bit so the detail really stands out but i'm having a bit of a backwards day so if someone could point me in the right direction to get them on here that would be great :P

Idont know about anyone else, but , I upload my pics to photobucket.com then copy the img text for it , then paste it into the "insert picture" on the thread.

Hello Callidon ,

Another way is to upload the pictures from your computer into your albums .
The topic " albums" shows up on the right hand side of your profile.
Once you have a picture in your album you put your mouse onto it and select " copy URL of the picture " and then paste it into the " insert picture" icon of your quick reply message box.
If you want to post a picture from the web you do same thing :
- go over it
- select " copy Url of the picture "
- Paste it in the " quick reply" box that appears when you select the " insert picture " icon of your message box.
- if you " go advanced " you 'll see the picture appearing there in your message .
If it does'nt it can mean that specific picture is copyrighted and you can't use it .

Awesome Mudra, that would help me get around the problems i'm having with photobucket at the moment. singning in off my mate laptop so not able to upload today, but will do before the end of the weekend.

Having to use flickr to get this done as some photo's are too large to go on here and photobucket is useless. I'll post up in a new thread when i'm done.

Have you tried to reduce the picture in size but keeping it as jpg?
