Could those two craters on the right be entrances? They seem to be very deep! Look at the straight-lines on the shadow edges! Is a craft emerging from one of them?! Is it unreasonable, at this point, to speculate that most of the solid planets and moons in the Solar System have Deep Undersurface Bases...inhabited by Humans and Non-Humans? I hope we can have a peaceful and free Solar System...where the General Public can at least visit some of our DUMB's...and also visit the Moon...and possibly Mars. There's a cool Topless Grey Bar on the darkside of the Moon called 'Mork 'n Ork's'...not far from Lunar Base II! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzdeeLS6BM0 Maybe you'll have to wait until the Year 2525! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5D4feRMK0F0 Use your imagination in the meantime.

I can concur. There is a visible line under the crater where the right side of the black shape is. It could also be a lighting difference between when the two sections of pictures were taken.

That line in the larger of the connencted craters looks like photo work. The line is too straight on a rough surface. Look at the shade lines inside theother craters. They coincide with the surface of the outer edge of the crater. Issue one.

Issue Two-The second smaller connected crater does have a curious speck (object) showing in the shaded crater.
It is either something tall extending outside of the crater, allowing it to capture sunlight or is an object lit and perhaps hovering inside the shaded area of the crater. If you look at the other shaded areas in the photo, nothing is visible in those shaded areas. If one could zoom in on this speck, it may be revealing.

From the peanut gallery.

It is as Morguana said. It's merely where they put together two photos of the same terrain that just have different lighting. The line is straight from top to bottom and the same lighting difference is seen in the surface as well.

Actually no, I'm not kidding. If you look at the full image and not the one you have conveniently cropped, the lines run up and down the entire image, at equal intervals. The differences are noticed at every seam. I am a trained graphic designer and assure you that is all this is.

Besides, if they wanted to hide something, I think they would do a better job of it so that it didnt look obvious. Anyone with any skill whatsoever in photoshop could could black out that crater much smoother than this.
