View Full Version : Very strange feeling/certainty...

One and a half hour ago something very strange happened to me.

First of all, I would like to state that my first thought about it was: "Hey, finally you have got it! You are completely crazy". So I won't blame you if you think the same. :zip: Anyway, this is very serious for me and I wouldn't like it, if someone began fooling me for this thread.

It's been a very hard week (tones of work) and up to now, today has been the worst day of all week, so I have a high level of stress right now.

I was leaving the office towards the street to smoke a cigarrette. I was going downstairs and thinking in the so many problems and obstacles I was having today, when suddenly a thought crossed my mind. More than a thought, it was a certainty and that is the strangest thing and what lead me here seeking some explanation.

The certainty was literally: "If I wanted to, I could start flying right now"

I have been very near to loose my step and fall down the stairs... I mean, it has nothing to do with what I was thinking...

Someone can help me explaining what this could be?

I have experienced this before. My sister also had this experience when we were young. It's a feeling of fullness, and your heart leads it, right? Having said that, don't jump off of any cliffs just yet. Baby leaps, k?

This morning I had three dreams one after another, were I was sleeping woke up

and all of a sudden had the ability for my soul to walk out of my body. The first

time I jumped out and came right back in. The second time I got out and flew down

stairs and the third time I floated into a closest in my sisters room it was quite

awkward.

There was a solar eclipse today and its energies meant to be quite pivitol - may be it has something to do with that?!

Second Birth

"The first birth is not the real birth. One certainly comes out of the physiological womb of the mother, starts functioning as an independent, physiological unit, but there is still a deeper womb -- the psychological. Unless one comes our of that too, the real birth has not happened."

"Meditation is the process of coming out of the psychological womb, coming out of the mind. The moment you are out of the mind, you are free of all limitations. There are only two kinds of limitations: the limitations imposed by the body and the limitations imposed by the mind. These are the only prisons, the only chains. Once you are out of these two you are as vast as the universe itself. Then you are just pure awareness, with no beginning, no end."

From Osho: Nirvana, Now or Never

When pure awareness steps in bounderies recede :)

Thanks Linda! You can be sure that I won't try to jump any cliff. Anyway, no cliffs near Mexico City. :naughty:

This is very exciting!

I had one or two strange spiritual/paranormal experiences through my life, but I don't know why, this time I have the feeling that this is different from the others...

I'm feeling very confused too.

I don't consider myself a very awaken person (spiritually talking of course): yes I like to read a lot and I'm very interested in all of this issues but, seriously, I can't and haven't got the time for meditation or practice what I have read. I'm surprised that this kind of things can actually happen with no intention from ones part...

I've always wanted to fly... :naughty:

It could be that you have come to realize somthing and that has filled you to the point that you nearly felt weightlessness... I hope it came with a feeling of well being too.. It could be part of awakening, it can be such a nice feeling, a weight being lifted of your shoulders..

Oh I forgot to mention joy and happiness too.. Keep doing what your doing and im sure it will happen more... Try not to let people lower you down, raise them up with you.. If thats possible.. Some people like where they are though.. :original:

I cannot explain it but i can assure you, you are not alone. It is within our potential, and others (myself included) are having similar "feelings" or "urges" these days.

Just remember, if you gain the ability to fly you can take off from the ground, it doesn't require a jump.. :)

More seriously, I am happy for you, and I wish you luck moving forward. Take care of you.

Thanks a lot Shaynard! I'll try to remember to just take off instead of jumping.

Hey, your comment reminded me of one 80's TV series: The Great American Hero. This guy was given a super-hero outfit by some ET's and gained some super-powers but he never could make it because they never told him how to open the instructions book. Very funny series. The guy always felt down because he didn't know how to land when he was flying. :lol3:

The synchronicity is that I did go flying this morning -- not with my body but nevertheless I lifted my hands above my head after feeling all earthly attachments fall away. And I headed up for the top of the universe, went through the membrane via a portal and found myself in the universe above. I recalled I knew someone who was supposed to be there and went looking for him. After I found him I started to drift up again into the next universe up. What I saw there brought me back home quickly.

I can testify that there really were schools in ancient times (and places) that taught humans to fly in their bodies in the same manner as shown in this trailer.

After I saw this movie I came very very close to lifting my feet off the ground.

Yes, I know they used wires, etc. for the movie :-)

I can also support this Truth. Our true potential is now taught as fiction, because much is now lost. That said, some still do, they just keep it "protected" from others. :)

In my case, the main reason I lost these "siddhis" or abilities is due to the simple fact that I did not keep myself cleaned up spiritually. The lesson I learned is the development of abilities is best after one has achieved "Clear" or "Bodhisattva/Bodhicitta". Equanimity and enlightened detachment is initially more important than turned on abilities.

Once the good foundation is laid then, yes, it appears that the being must then do work on regaining abilities. Then is the time.

Otherwise, one might end up like Ingo Swan (or worse), doing work for Black Ops. :nono:
