If you had a two hour slot, and wanted to show ONE video that really gives a good "Big Picture" perspective to open eyes.....
which one would you choose?
If it isnt a Camelot interview...which one would it be and why?

Fabulous question! I wouldn't know where to start! I can't wait to see what others post...
Mudra? Viking? Tone3Jaguar? Morguana? Exchanger? Gnosis? Lightbeing? Transcoso? Rhythm? Swanny? Kulapops? Burgundia? Illuminate? Bill Ryan? Kerry Cassidy? Anchor? Karen? Carol? Apologies to everyone I've left out, but the most frequent posters come to mind...
Maybe we could form a consensus...this is verrrrry interesting~

Bursting bubbles of government deception; Robert Arthur of the Menard family.Even though it's only part of the big picture imo, it would be a good starter for waking people up.

Thanks , Thunderbird,
So Baraka is a 'normal' film, like , say, 2012? What was it about?
So what was the most influential documentary you saw before you got to Camelot, Thunderbird? That you would want other people to see?
I'm all ears :original:
thanks for the other suggestions too, peeps...
I'm thinking that time watching good docs is probably time better spent than posting! Am I really one of the 'frequent posters' Linda ?
Something's going wrong somewhere....
K
P.S. I think you should start the 2 hour slot with the first ever televised satelite broadcast : the Beatles and friends playing 'All you need is love'. See, the sixties weren't sooo stoopid ! :wink2:

What is the target audience?
When I have guests over who have no clue about any conspiracies ect.. I normally start with this one as a coup da grace...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLhidgtu12o
as its short and sweet (less then 10mins), it's from a credible person, Robert Welch founder of the John Birch Society, and it takes place in 1970.. from a 1956 speech, thus it proves that what is happening today with our dollar, our crazy spending, and what not is NO accident.
Once they see that I hit them with ENDGAME by Alex Jones. I'm not a fan of fear mongering or Jones but you have to admit that movie is a good way to wake people up.
Those two worked well so far for me.
Sometimes I throw in this one too as again, its short and sweet and from a credible witness, in this case Paul Hellyer, former Defence Minister of Canada, it is a speech from nov 2008 concerning Shadow Goverment and ET's.

Baraka is an epic view of the earth and its people filmed on IMAX cameras.
It came out a long time ago in a galaxy far far away.
it makes me think of a film aliens would pass around to each other like travel books to other aliens considering coming to visit earth.
it has no words....just an awesome soundtrack. films many sacred sites, along with our imbalanced cities, and beautiful stuff.

Thanks for the explanation Thunderbird !
And your personal choice of film ?
Thanks for your choices phtha.. I agree with you Alex is pretty good for the wakeup call... very dramatic... but I find I can't watch him these days.
the 911 film by loosechange is also very good to those who would not dream of doubting the status quo. Though I'm not sure how totally accurate it is, it does at least present well that there is another world view than the one the media shows.
Best wishes,
K

I would have to say that due to the wealth of good info available this choice would have to be left entirely to the presenter.
What subjects can you answer questions to without falterng and using "Ummmm...." a lot? Where are you most comfortable and where have you been researching. You need to be really sharp on your chosen topic and able to field any
My personal favourite would be Zeitgeist the addendum, but then there are so many. Again, and this is personal choice, I would concentrate on introducing people to the concept that all they see and hear via popular media of all types is in fact a lie.
Get their attention gently and see who wants more info. You never awaken a sleeper with a loud bang !!!

Kula: "I'm thinking that time watching good docs is probably time better spent than posting! Am I really one of the 'frequent posters' Linda ?

No, Kula, nothing wrong with posting vs. watching. And, are you are a more recent (or returning) poster, which brought you to mind? We like what you say, so don't be shy~
Thunderbird: What type audience, do you know? Not that you should tailor the truth, but, I agree about waking a sleeper gently, not with a bang. How about the Seneca Chief's speech to the UN so long ago? Leonard, right? I will try to find for you. Mudra posted his speech couple of months ago.
What's so good about this thread is that we will see all of the answers. Woot!

Me too Endgame. That's the only documentary I bought on DVD so far. The production is good and the website has an exhaustive bibliography of all the data presented in the movie:

Great question and many great options…
• Zeitgeist
• The freedom movie
• What the bleep…
• Nassim Haramein talking about sacred geometry
• The Shift with Dr. Wayne Dyer
• The Disclosure Project May 9th 2001 National Press Club Conference
I also believe that most of the Project Camelot interviews are full of great info, and even those that are hard to believe are a great way to get the mind spinning and open up possibilities that are part of our current reality and need to be shared and explored.
Baraka is such a great picture I am glad you guys think so too. And The Ego I haven’t had the pleasure of viewing yet, but now that I know about it I will. Thanks for sharing. :original:

In your shoes I would go one of two ways:
1.) Explain the money. 13 bloodlines, Federal Reserve, wars for profits, intentional recessions and depressions.
2.) Explain the heavy mind control we are under. An excellent documentary called The Century of Self (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUYFr-uDQgg) explains very well how we've come to accept whatever the PTB are serving up (war, materialism, ...).
The story of the relationship between Sigmund Freud and his American nephew, Edward Bernays. Bernays invented the public relations profession in the 1920s and was the first person to take Freud's ideas to manipulate the masses. He showed American corporations how they could make people want things they didn't need by systematically linking mass-produced goods to their unconscious desires.
Bernays was one of the main architects of the modern techniques of mass-consumer persuasion, using every trick in the book, from celebrity endorsement and outrageous PR stunts, to eroticising the motorcar.
His most notorious coup was breaking the taboo on women smoking by persuading them that cigarettes were a symbol of independence and freedom. But Bernays was convinced that this was more than just a way of selling consumer goods. It was a new political idea of how to control the masses. By satisfying the inner irrational desires that his uncle had identified, people could be made happy and thus docile.
It was the start of the all-consuming self which has come to dominate today's world.
I think these have the best chance of reaching people on the verge of waking up. Not quite as mind-blowing and a little easier to digest when you're just getting into this.
Best of luck in whatever direction you go. What a great opportunity! :thumb_yello:

wow what great responses!
i'm picturing something lite....
what the bleep is good.
Es7ter....those were some great ideas that I will follow up on for sure.
I especially like the Seneca speech idea!
No need for the loud bang....
it's loud enough.
it's out there to b found if the people have the desire.
Thunderbird

but I gotta say I got the loud bang and really LOVE the heavy...
Like Endgame and Zeitgeist.
but Junior Leaguers and PTA families aren't quite ready for the heavy....
though you would be pleasantly surprised at the number of aware mothers and wealthy families that are hip to the game....
I was surprised.

Kymatica for sure it touchs a little bit of everything in it and those that watch it are bound to search the different parts of it out to see if it is true. The best part about it is that it shows how big the lie we have been fed is not just a sliver of it an eye opener for sure

We just recently watched John Pilger's Death of Democracy. It is a docmentary on what has happened in Latin America. Not sure if this is the right one for your purposes but it is timely as it ties into what is happening in Haiti at the moment. Also the end was extremely uplifting and hopeful.
It also certainly shows who some of the bad guys are.

You are going to need more then a 2 hour time slot to unveil the truth, my friend. Still, everyone’s merely peeping behind the curtain of lies. Curiosity…with certainty is things to consider in your presentation. Keep their interest with simplicity and lots of pictures. Afterwards… suggesting movies like The Matrix and K-Pax for leisure times may be more enlightening and should further peak their intuitions. The goal, imo, is to demolish apathy, create awareness thru consistent questioning. The possibilities of it all are truly endless, so who really knows what’s up…or down?
Awaken people to decide for self and not to let a system decide for them. Think Green, develop a green thumb and nurture the seeds you plant…for in time, their growth will symbolize your examples. Your illustration of love is automatically measured by your closest ones and associates, Express your beliefs, your inquisitiveness, and put together a collage of vidz/pictures and present them in good faith. Make it worth while, after all…this reality is just temporary no matter how you cut it. Teaching them to be OPEN MINDED is the most important thing you can do…
Once one researches for one’s self…it is only then… one truly understands what the one really wants to know… haha, that was fun.
Just be creative, you should have a good idea what this bunch (your showing group) is like, have fun with it. There may be some fear; panic and denial…don’t sweat it. Everyone is still learning and unlearning, it’s twisted out here. Take what resonates with you and do your own thang, :original: smile during your journey into the unknown…
Peace
