I used to be full of fear, not knowing what will happen tomorrow, restless about earth changes, 2012 etc

I had a buddy who always tried to get me to go to his church...He would tell me that belief in God would set me free and that if I believed like he did that the gates of heaven would open to me.

I don't think is about escapism, I am quite aware of what is happening in the world, the key is the point of view. Imagine for a moment that you are looking at the universe not at your inmediate reality

Also, when we are eternal what is there to worry about? one life time? Even if there is only one life time (which I know is not the case cos other lives memory) there is no point in worry

We worry because we think we are failing somehow, yet we only fail in our minds because even if we are judged, the only one that can punish oneself is oneself and think we are less than is one self

Perspective is a interesting thing

The other thing I am aware of is that there is free will and one can not change or teach anything to anyone. When we stop trying to change things outside we can concetrate in becoming whole inside which is the key of all transformation, growth, love, joy etc

Fairy tales/reality what is the truth?
For me both is real we create what we want we are after all consciousness we perceive what we wish.
We are only looking in on this reality so make of it what you will.
For me the world of fairy tales are reality it is played out in so many ways it is placed in to our children's fairy tales books a perception of reality be it some can distort a child's understanding but this is all an illusion so reality can be what you want it to be.

I started this theme because I feel around me that people deliberately choose fairy tale life avoiding what IS (as Phtha said) .
We certainly choose our reality and we shape it daily but I also think that people wish to avoid looking in the mirror and see who they really are . They are afraid of themselves. So they jump from costume to costume eventually ending up playing characters and loosing themselves.

For example, with how many people anybody here, as a members of this forum , can actually talk about "non " common things such as spiritual world,ET`s,Universe,God,Technology ...

Not so many since after third sentence they will change subject and if you do insist on theme, they will label you as nuts...
Why?
Because they are afraid of what they might find behind the curtain of life.

One can say that it's our 'free will' that enslaves us, or to put it another way, we enslave ourselves by using our own free will.
For after all, when you use your free will to 'always do whats right', and to do 'whats good' for the benefit of everything, not just ones self, which at times perhaps is not exactly what YOU or I wants to do... is that using free will? Or the will of God? Or following the Will of God?

That is a tough task since we tend (even in our best intentions) to show somebody what to do.

Right. Then you should also include the fairy tales presented by PR companies, film producers, psy-ops, etc. ... The world is full of them. For all I know some of the channellings might be real, I just have no means to determine which are BS or otherwise so I stuff myself with a pound of salt each time I read them or listen to them. But yes, I agree, a frighteningly high number of people here (out of all places ;-) seem to happily take them intravenously without a blink of an eye. It's a sad world (until you look at the bright side that is ;-)))

Often I wonder about many things and learn from many things. But whenever I get stuck I recall that Christ`s words in this situation ; know the truth and it will set you free.
Also more of a good advices he gave was in regard to this conversation and that is ; by their fruit ,you will know them. You can `t reap grapes from a fig tree and reverse.

I tend when read or listen others to feel the spirit behind the words and demeanor . Then I see what kind of fruit they bare. Is it love, truth,wisdom,discernment,knowledge or lies,sugarcoating,mistreating, downing,insulting,blinding.

It is not easy doing this since nobody`s perfect ( starting from me) but that`s the way to protect myself from fraudsters.

For example I highly doubt in posts you set over here ,when you do copy paste thing, but I read them to see if they hold a value or not.
I see through the veil that you my friend are the soul wishing and longing for truth and freedom and in your research you do your best even if you stumble sometimes. That`s why I appreciate you Viking.

We`re all brothers and sisters and if but a one wishes to get out from this collective mud and mire ,then I will be the first to cheer them up!

It is always very good to imagine, howEVER when it comes to the real issues at hand... it's time for leveled thinking.

Attitude, as Tango writes, is essential, however, that good attitude still is facing reality, get it?
