One minute it's working next it's not.... :sneaky2:
While I'm here why is it hosted in USA ??
Surely it makes sense to host in in a country with out so much censorship?

I concur! Also my fonts got bigger without me making it that way on my computer. Funny part is I only noticed it with this forum and doing a google search. Then my niece used the computer to look something up and noticed all the fonts being huge. Wish I could remember how to change the font setting. Weird!

Thing is, these database errors are happening more and more frequently.

The problems that have occurred appear to have affected everyone and required intervention at a hardware level to resolve. The root cause is being investigated. Unfortunately at this time we cannot be sure it wont happen again.

I'm not a computer nerd (I'm just a nerd in the world...that's all they'll let me be!)...but a redundant multinational system would be cool! I just hope that no matter what happens...that all posts are secure...and that no one (even God) or no event (even an Act of God...like a Pole Shift, Tectonic Movement, Aimed Asteroid, or the Big Wave) can erase what we mere mortals have labored so hard to produce! I tend to think that this site has historical significance...regarding the evolution of thought and spirituality...and possible Human/ET communication.

This is a shared concern among the founders and administrators. In all the drama's we have had, no significant data has been lost. Even the data that was part of the library has not been lost, and there are some slow moving plans to reindex it.

Improvements are being made all the time.

A..

Ugh. Just their way of telling us what they're going to do next.

Though I believe that they cannot kill the internet. There are too many guardians out there.

ref: More problems - database errors

I read this and understand the issues are more then likely due to database growth and use. Database management is not easy work.

Thank you for your time.

Ref: One minute it's working next it's not

One area that could affect this is the network connection between you and the site.

ie If you go through ATT's backbone and they are having issues (delays) then it could result in you never reaching the site. 10 minutes later the problem is solved and then you can view the site again.

Yeah, same here, intermittent loading problems :sneaky2:

The server load is something that can be caused by a number of technical issues.
No fun for support.
