I have 2 animals, one is a black and white cat who looks exactly like Felix the cat (his name is Felix!) and a dog named Duke who is a Pomeranian.

It never ceases to humble me to realize how much my animals depend and honestly love to be around me - as i do them. If i ever find myself feeling glumb i just go sit with my cat and give him a brushing or just lay beside him and take a little nap.

Its nice to have a good bond with your pets they can always keep you company. I ask you what pets do you have? if none then share your thoughts on the subject.

Peace everyone!

Hi John,

I just wanted to say that I have never owned an animal, but over the years certain animals have chosen to keep company with me. For that I have been grateful. My cat Leo, companion of 17 years, died several years ago. I miss him. He used to tell me things all the time. Only one other animal has come to me recently, a cat named Uriel. I knew he wasn't to stay here. My daughter took him with her to Maine, where he is supremely happy.

Hi John

Yes I have had a cat that I miss very much. I would talk to him, ask how he was and stuff. He loved being round me and I did him too. He would great me when I got home. Some cats realy do like human company. I am sure as he got older he knew what I was talking about on a simple level.

I always felt that I had an inter-species relationship with Leo, that is, that I didn't necessarily know more than he did. In fact, he frequently knew things that I didn't know, but he could communicate them to me in his particular language, the language of behaviors, sounds. He always meowed hello, just a little blip of a sound, the only time he made that sound. So he knew what it meant!

Great affinity with animals. Always have had cats. They have all been angels to me in some way. Very sensitive creatures. 2 that have past years back still come to me on occasion to comfort and love. Presently, 2 Russian Blue brothers of 14 and 20 pounds, Derik and Simon.

Deep connection with whales and dolphins that sing to me and play in visionary ways.

I selected a Lhasa out of a home bred littler, that managed to "climb" all the way out of a dog pen (Top removed for easy access.). I thought that dog kinda special if it wants to know what is outside "the fence" surrounding the littler with the little family in it.. (?Freedom?) Did I mention its eyes were barely open?

The cat is a grey left over from a left behind littler somewhere next to the road.
Very friendly male. Especially after we had to sacrifice $400 to repair his run in with A bird of prey. I guess, it knows we saved him one of his 9 lives.

They seem to be best friends, they hunt each other, (The cat is smarter with ambushes.) fight friendly, until someone gets to much into it and the other snaps with a warning, They clean each others coats. (exchange smell I guess.)
And for dominance the female dog every now and then humps the cat.. :-)

They are just like little persons each with their own character and their own special but recognizable ways... (I don't write this because I would want to "see" that in animals.. But because that is what I observe with these animals.)

The cat mimics the way the dog begs for a treat. And gives it a special personal touch by putting its paw against or on your foot.

And no, I don't own them, they stay for their own reasons.

After losing the cat I had for 17 years ( who also comes to visit us frequently, still ) I spent a few days focused on the love I had for him, pondering rescuing another cat.
Pets are amazing at keeping us humans in the now..
Anyway, after 3 days of focus on that human/animal love, my daughter walked in our house carrying a kitten.
He's been with us for two years now.
He is an instant source of joy when I direct my attention on him.

We have a bunny too. She is love as well.

Hi John, yes i have been a cat lover all my life but unfortuantly i have no cats today but i have had many rescue cats in the past, they have given me much love and are still with me today although they have all past over.
I sometimes catch a glimpse of something out of the corner of my eye the door will open a little i know it was my late cat zoe. She comes to me many times that makes me feel very happy indeed.
I have a dacshund at the moment he a 3 years old he is a very sensitive dog and picks up on all my moods being good or bad.
When i am feeling down he will sit on my lap for me to stroke him telling me not is all so bad.
Oh yes i also have a little guinea pig she's called milly, george my dog absolutely loves her but does get jealous if i give her something to eat without giving him a bit first.
So each morning he will have a little bit of cucumber and carrot while milly is screaming for her bit it makes me laugh and makes my day.george

Right now we have two cats. Our dog Curly Sue, beautiful soul, died several weeks ago. Both cats truly loved the dog, but they're not friendly with each other. One is pure white with light green eyes and pink ears, paws, and nose. The other is a Siamese with some "other" in her.

They give in a way I truly appreciate and I am grateful they are in my life.

I have 2 puddy cats, a very young ginger chap 'found' us after living rough and being wounded, he has stayed and strayed to the most interesting people, introduced me to a professional 'psychic' lady who really helped me and consequently healed me with her Shiatsu therapy. He sneaked off again and I met another fascinating gardening person who returned him to me. Made lots of friends, he's my eldest puddy cat and stays home now (I hope)...
Youngest recruit was spotted on a rehoming RSPCA website after an old puddy passed. I couldn't take my eyes off him, but he didn't 'fit' our replacement image, however, went to cat kennels, spotted Bert and fell in love. Of course it was him all along!!!
He sits here next to my keyboard on a cushion, never stops loving me.
What a happy pair of puddy's!!!:):):):):)

Hello everyone, we have two dogs living with us ,one a golden lab Harry and the other a cross between a ****ztu and cavalier Ben , they give us nothing but unconditional love. They both sleep on my bed, the lab sleeps next to me with his head on the pillow and snors very loudly at times but then again i've been told so do i . In my opinion my life would be alot less without them and i love them as much as i can . One more thing if you turn the word dog around what do you get ,GOD (funny that).

love and christ light to you all
