I have heard that there is a movement to protest taxes on April 15th, 2009 in the US in front of the US Post Offices.

You know, I don't own property, I don't have a 401k and I don't invest in anything. I welcome a tax return. It'll do nicely in my backup fund in case I lose my job or something.

Though I want to check out Naomi Wolf's book, "From Freedom to Fascism" or whatever it's called.

I highly disagree.

When culture involves embracing people and sharing time-honored customs, I don't see how it could be dangerous.

Of course, we all can look beyond culture. I am Deaf but I do not follow that specific culture. I am also Native American but I don't really follow it as much as I could. I have my own culture, my own ways, etc.

You can be independent of culture and still recognize it and take the most useful elements of it to help you in your life.

Yes, a tax return can be like a gift every year, but wouldn't it be better if they never took your money from you in the first place and you were able to receive the interest on it instead of them? They have no right to tax you on the 'fruits of your labor'. Ron Paul supports abolishing the IRS and taxes.

Humble...I meant for the video to complete my thought...I agree that culture has value, just not the established culture that has been forced on us via big media, political agendas etc...as Terrence Mckenna was explaining...in a jovial sort of way, that art should be primary..that is only in retrospect, but I do agree with you.

True culture definitely needs to be redeveloped by mankind.

Yes, it would be nice but then again, I'm not greedy. I've always assumed that my taxes went towards services.

That may seem naive but that's what I've always thought.

I wouldn't mind being able to keep more money though. It's an uphill battle to earn enough to get by comfortably in this state. High taxes certainly don't help.

However, what if you could live your life without any worry of money? Wouldn't you want that? I want that badly.
