This was a response of mine in another thread, but I thought I would make it into its own, as it is sort of a stand alone topic.
It turns out that many of the ancient myths and scriptures are making
much more exoteric sense now then even 20 years ago. This is because
our science was not at a level to understand what many of the texts
were talking about.
Science just denoted much of the stuff as primitive gibberish.
But now as our science advances, we are able to see it was far from that.
In ancient Hindu texts there are vivid descriptions of sophisticated weaponry and flying machines probably more advanced then
we have today, at least in the public spectrum. The weapons described
sound similar to particle beams and other cutting edge stuff.
Here are some versus from two Sanskrit epics, the Ramayama and Mahabharata:
The Mahabharata
Gurkha, flying a swift and powerful vimana,
Hurled a single projectile,
Charged with all the power of the universe, (Sounds like harmonic coupling on a galactic scale!)
An incandesent column of smoke and flame,
As bright as ten thousand suns,
Rose with all its splendour.
It was an unknown weapon,
An iron thunderbolt, (missile?)
a gigantic messenger of death,
Which reduced to ashes (nuclear or worse?)
The entire race of the Vrishnis and the Andhakas.
The corpses were so burned
As to be unrecognizable.
Hair and nails fell out;
Pottery broke without apparent cause,
And the birds turned white...."
The Ramayana
(It was a weapon) so powerful
That it could destroy the earth in an instant (Tesla claimed he knew how to split the earth)
A great soaring sound in the smoke and flames
And on it sits death....
The Mahabharata
Dense arrows of flame,
Like a great shower, (Nuclear winter or similar?)
Issued forth upon creation,
Encompassing the enemy....
A thick gloom swiftly settled upon the Pandava hosts.
All the points of the compass were lost in darkness.
Fierce winds began to blow.
Clouds roared upward
Showering dust and gravel
The Earth shook,
Scorched by the terrible violent hear of this weapon.
From all points of the compass
The arrows of flame rained continuosly and fiercely.
These descriptions had to have come from experience.
Not to mention skeletons found in the early fifties during excavations, in
the area of the two cities mentioned in the epics, "were the most
radioactive ever found, on par with those at Nagasaki and Hiroshima.
At another site in India, Soviet scholars found a skeleton with a
radioactivity level in excess of fifty times that which is normal."
Ancient buildings and walls from cities in northern India
were found fused together or vitrified.
The first "modern" atomic bomb test happened July 16th, 1945 in
Alamagordo, New Mexico, in a desert. The bomb turned the desert sand
to fused green glass. This is interesting because the New York Herald Tribune reported
in February 16th, 1947, that archaeologists had been digging in Iraq, in the ancient Euphrates Valley,
and uncovered a layer of "fused green glass" said to be dated older then 8000 years!
Another interesting thing is that the father of the H-bomb,
Dr.Oppenheimer, was also a Sanskrit scholar. Coincidence? I think not.
Further more, Oppenheimer quoted the Mahabharata after the bomb went off: "I have unleashed the power of the Universe; now I have become the destroyer of worlds." Apparently he had an over inflated ego. :lmao: (This is only one of many
Instances where scientist don't give credit where its due, to ancient knowledge!)
Seven years after the Alamagordo explosion, while being interviewed
at Rochester University, Oppenheimer was asked if this was the first atomic bomb every to be detonated, his response was: Well, yes,...... in modern history.
If you want to read more on this subject I would recommend the Giza Death Star books by Joseph P Farrell.
