Bills last gig before he returned home. I wish he was still around. he would be unstoppable with all that has gone on since he died.
Imagine what he would have said about 9/11.....
That was one enlightened man.
Some of the things he says are EXTREMELY profound. Not to mention, hilarious.

These are incredible words of wisdom. : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1RQmnSJoRg
ITS JUST A RIDE. A CHOICE BETWEEN FEAR & LOVE.
It's just a ride and we can change it any time we want. It's only a choice. No effort, no work, no job, no savings and money, a choice, right now, between fear and love. The eyes of fear want you to put bigger locks on your door, buy guns, close yourself off. The eyes of love instead see all of us as one.....
....You know all that money we spend on nuclear weapons and defense each year, trillions of dollars, correct? Instead -- just play with this -- if we spent that money feeding and clothing the poor of the world -- and it would pay for it many times over, not one human being excluded -- we can explore space together, both inner and outer, forever in peace.

Bill Hicks is one of my favorite comedians. He never sold out unlike most of the comedians you see today. He told it like it was forcing his audiences to either love him or hate him. I've seen this show before and it is one of my favorites. The part about the Lincoln Log in the sock drawer is great. A real comedy genius.

One of my all time favourite people.
Maybe someplace right now he's doing some material on dubya.

“Matter is merely energy condensed into a slow vibration. We’re all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There’s no such thing as death, life is just a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.”
~Bill Hicks
He got it.

"See, I think drugs have done some *good* things for us, I really do. And if you don’t believe drugs have done good things for us, do me a Favor: go home tonight and take all your albums, all your tapes, and all your cd’s and burn em’. 'Cause you know what? The musicians who’ve made all that great music that’s enhanced your lives throughout the years...
Rrrrrrrrrrrrreal ------ high on drugs."
--Bill Hicks
"Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration. That we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves. Here's Tom with the weather."
"It's not a war on drugs, it's a war on personal freedom, it´s what it is ok?. Keep that in mind at all times. Thank you!"

The thing that gets me is that he knew he only had months left and yet, he was at the height of his powers.
