I live in North Carolina as well. I have a plan to move back to the mountains in Brevard in a couple of years. I have to wait until my wife finishes her nursing degree. I believe there are many communities in that area. We will be safer with the Native Americans.

If I don't move. We will have to stay in the area and hope for the best.

Me and my family are moving to Brevard in two years, which is a very small town near Asheville. I also have family in that area. I know that there are already communities in that area. Does anyone know who they are and if they have websites?

The mountains are great and beautiful. You want to stay away from heavy populated areas. Asheville is a low population city and good area to move to.

I did a population search and found that Charlotte is our biggest city with well over 600,000 people. Then there is Raleigh and Fayetteville ( which is where I live near now). These three major areas could be dangerous to live around in the future if stuff goes down.

So, it will take some effort to plan the move but the main reason we are moving is because Brevard is my wife's Hometown. And I miss the snow. I would like to see another white christmas. My kids also need a nicer environment.

Reading lots of threads here on the forum. Sadly, finding many that are focusing on the negative aspects of the changes that are surrounding us.

Please remember: these darker days are the harbinger of the awakening of ourselves. These dark and ugly restraints that have held us so tightly are rusting and beginning to fall away. Piece by piece. Day by day. The power that we have held quietly for so long grows stronger with each passing minute.

Our awakening CANNOT be stopped! What can stop the will of the power that created us in the first place? The simple answer is: "nothing".

The destructive plan that has been laid for us does NOT have to come to be. It has been stopped dead in its' tracks so many times recently. The greater majority of which is a credit to the power of thought thinking. YOU have created the power to stop them. YOU can continue to do so!

Remember to envision the experience you want for yourself (and for us all) and focus less on what TPTB want for us.

It is OUR will that will win! We have the numbers now.

Then we have Machobird pressure to go there. So I'm somewhat torn. If we consolidate, I'm leaning towards N & S Carolina. If we do NC regions it may be easier to meet up, but you miss out on advice from other regions near by. Your thoughts? I say consolidate, we can all handle a little bit more reading. bodzoyfa, concerning your safe haven, I'm in Raleigh and am counting the days until I'm out of here. I don't feel safe in any city with a beltline, much less two. If it ever goes to full martial law you are stuck, and personally I miss the mountains too much to be stuck anywhere else.

I am originally from the Triad area and went to college in the Asheville area, but I have been living in Northern Italy for the past 22 years. Too many people sleeping here and it's hard to get anyone even to listen to what I have to say. And I'm not too sure how safe it will be anyway, even though I am way up in the Alps on the Swiss border.
As soon as I can, hopefully very soon, I will be getting back. I would love to be able to keep in touch with you guys for whenever I get a chance to get back even if for a temporary visit (my mom is in W-S). I've been talking to her about moving up into the Old Fort- Swannanoa area. I am one 16th Cherokee and I miss my Blue Ridge Mountains so! Everytime I come back to NC, I always have to get up to the mountains, where I feel that I've really come home.

I live in Greensboro and am new to these forums (this is my first post). I'm moving to Mississippi in a couple of months, but would be interested in talking to you guys about what you think is going to happen and how to be safer in it. The job I'm moving into is working with local and county governments from the private sector, and so its extremely inflation and recession/depression proof. However, I do think that very bad things are ahead on the horizon.

No nation that allows corporations to lobby its government can long stand anyway. Lobbying was was meant as a redress of grievances for the people - not as a means to buy influence from the Dodds and Gramms of Congress. What we're seeing here in this (these) bailout(s) is the result of that influence purchasing.

Hello, I have already posted an introduction in 'North And South Carolina', if anyone wishes to see the rest.

I know 14 programming languages, some circuitry, many survival techniques and basic survival knowledge, have attended environmental classes, and was at one point a certified junior master farmer through the school system to which I attended (OCLC).

I am glad many people are interested in creating a ground crew that is to be safe through whatever hell may rise in the years to come. I should be in Massechusets by the time 2012 comes around, but I live in Onslow County, NC. I am to attend M.I.T. for a 4 year degree doing programming. The US Airforce should be paying me through this, but by 2012, I'll be 2 years into college at MIT, so I may not be around NC, but disregarding 2012, I would normally have to go into the airforce for 4 years after college. I may try to travel back to the mountains of NC before 2012 to meet up with this ground crew.

I am currently 16, but that is quite irrelivant. Please do not underestimate me because of my age.

I'm trying to think ahead here...Would my enrollment into the Airforce ROTC scholarship bind me to the airforce before college was over? Would the airforce need me in any way during whatever lies ahead? Would that stop me from travelling back here?

Yes, I went (semi-) willingly, was very young and inexperienced, had dropped out of college and didn't know what else to do. I was fortunate to be enlisted when not much was going on -- and didn't have to go to war.


The idea of an ROTC scholarship is, yes, a way for them to get young officers in exchange for the cost of education. I don't know the details, but please, stay away from it. Consider taking courses online. By the time you would be out of college, degrees won't mean much anyway.

Hi everyone,

I already live pretty much in the mountains of upper north, northwestern North Carolina. Been here 30 yrs or so now, will communicate with any and all. We are already in the over 2,000 ft elevation so feel this is pretty safe. Of course no place is 100%, but some more safer than others.

The economic situation looks pretty grim in many aspects, and the Earth Changes occurring is very concerning indeed. Sometimes I wish we were further out into the boonies! LOL But we are relatively out in the mountains now so this is good. We have always stayed rather prepared as it is, so much won't change there for us because we are used to the rough winters here already and the power outages that can occur here.

Glad to see there are more from NC on here also.

If wars and military institutions become too desperate, I would assume that they can do anything to you, place you anywhere they see fit. If you have the credentials you say you do, then they are going to find the brightest people to help pull them out from whatever the situation may be. I'd take fil's advice and stay away from the military in such chaotic times.

Oh dear...What do we all think about October 7'th and 14'th coming? At first, I was apprehensive about the 14'th coming and really finalizing the turning point of this doomed race, but then this 7'th thing that started with Dr. Deagle has me worried. I came to this site from David Wilcock's DivineCosmos forums. For those wanting positive messages and to be uplifted overall, I strongly recommend you visit. Some of the material discussed may seem "far out"; that's ok. Use only that which resonates with you... As you may or may not be aware, David is a regular source of information for Billy and Kerry. The reason I joined this forum was due to the large amount of people in my geographic region. I currently live in Western NC and am looking to connect with others of like mind. Discussions on forums are great, but face to face, the energy exchange is much greater. Additionally, there is less chance of miscommunication - meaning is often lost through the limitations of written language.

Again, if I may, I claim to be "of the spirituality, transformation, and ascension camp" for lack of better words. These times are definitely challenging and with all the negative energy and fear being shoved down our throats, its tough to keep a positive outlook. But, it is possible; possible to see through the FOG, the illusion, to experience the beauty that surrounds us each day, the beauty that is us each day.

Each day provides infinite possibilities. Its a matter of choice. Seize opportunities; opportunities to share knowledge, shine your light on those around you, share love for and with all. This is the service our world so desparately needs.

William H. Schlesinger, Ph.D., a biogeochemist who has been investigating the link between environmental chemistry and global climate change for more than 30 years, will give a free public lecture on campus Feb. 13. His talk, “Climate Change: Causes, Impacts and Solutions,” begins at 4 p.m. in the College Chapel.

Schlesinger, whose recent work has focused on the influence of trees and soil on atmospheric carbon dioxide levels, will discuss the potential for humans to achieve sustainability amid population growth and increased resource use. Schlesinger was dean of the Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University for six years before becoming president of the Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies in Millbrook, N.Y., in 2007. He is now the university’s James B. Duke Professor Emeritus of Biogeochemistry.

Schlesinger’s presentation is a prologue of sorts to the first Headwaters Gathering March 27-29 on the Warren Wilson campus. Jointly hosted by Warren Wilson, Orion Magazine and The Wilderness Society, the gathering focuses on climate-change issues and has a theme of “Southern Appalachia at the Crossroads: A Call to Action.”

I noticed there are a lot of people from Raleigh here. I live close to durham, but I'm still in Raleigh. I want to make a Handbook for the New Paradigm meetup group for us to meet in. The only problem is that I don't have a location to meet at. I would rather it not be in a public place, like a library or a restaurant. If anyone can offer a place I can hold the meetup's time. I don't have the means to travel as far as Asheville right now though.

I posted some information on a potential piece of property in October of
2008. We raised approximately $100,000 and went to the auction hoping
to have an opportunity to buy the property. A land developer and the lender
got in a bidding war and the lender won the bid at 1.6 million. So it appeared
that we lost our opportunity to purchase this land.

Here we are 6 months later and the lender still has this property that he
wants to un load. He has recently approached us to see if we are
interested. It appears at this time no one else is interested in the property.
We are a group of well diversified people, some coming from the business
world, the non profit area, primitive skills and a herbologist to name a few.

We believe this property has some sort of spiritual guidance on it. We need
to raise funding to have an opportunity to buy it from the lender. If you
are interested in this opportunity send me a private message. We should
have a proposal written in 2 weeks. Anyone serious in this opportunity
will have a chance to look at this property and meet our group before
providing any funding. We feel we need to raise $300,000 at this time
to start the ball rolling.

If you seriously think earth changes are on the horizon and are willing to

place on this property if you are service to self it is not a place you

My partner and I are in Tallahassee Florida. She is from Vance county NC, and we have pretty much decided we want to be in the Ashville NC area in the future. She is a retired radiological technologist (x-ray tech). I am a college grad with bs in marketing, management and sociology. I am also a trained blacksmith / Farrier, have gardening, building, and natural energy knowledge. I also have 4 children from a prior marriage who may or may not move with us depending on when we leave here.

We would like to create relationships with those in the NC area who are also light oriented and have a servants heart. I am not interested in a religious commune or political gathering, but more those who believe we need to walk in love, generosity, and positive energy.

We have been limited in funding this past year and are working to improve that situation. We have gathered supplies for emergencies, and I plan to focus mostly on earth friendly structures, irrigation, and food storage / gardening. PEOPLE OF THE MOUNTAINS!

Anybody interested in joining in a Chemtrail Watch group we've formed in SW VA to track chemtrailing activity and get some data together? There is NO information anywhere about when they chemtrail, and how that relates to our actual weather, so we're collecting our own info. We've got local observers scattered in small towns, and we could use some NC people too, as all our weather is linked, particularly anyone around Blowing Rock, Boone, etc.

Armed with info (observations, photos, videos) we plan on making a fuss and demanding some answers from local and state "governing bodies" who are not telling us ANYTHING. And also we'll demand some public health initiatives around the aluminum and barium falling so unnaturally from the sky.
