Hey, southern maine here. I've been seriously discussing this with friends recently, and my interest in the eastern side of the white mountains in northwestern maine, just next to the NH border and south of canada. only advantage to the eastern side of the whites than the west is that it's usually more shielded from the weather fronts moving down from canada, however, climate change has been changing that lately. overall, I do recommend the white mountains region. North of Newry, Maine becomes much more sparse in population with lots of open, empty woodland. I am also focused on staying in Maine because this is my home and I know it very very well, along with edible wildlife.

OK, here we unite. Look to the west, right? I'm in Western Mass, away from the coast and far enough north of Springfield. A little too close to Vermont Yankee than i'd like but see many good things that speak to survival here, local producers. Anyway, if we all relocate to the "safe places" who will be left to initiate the survivors.
Lets make contact.

Well, I can tell you as I just said, I have a community in the works but it will be in northwestern Maine as that's where my intuition is telling me, and god damnit it has been right on the money as of lately. In times like these I feel it's all you got left going for yeah (and a big part in that too!)

Well, I figure if it gets bad everyone from Boston south will be heading south, leaving the rest of us in northern New England alone. Who wants to deal with the cold and the snow!? Takes too much effort to keep warm for those looking for the easy way out, but a lot of us here are very resourceful and willing to actually do some work, so those of like mind will gather and support one another. Traditionally Yankees are a bit stand offish until a 'situation' arises, then neighbors help neighbors.

Initiating the survivors is a noble goal.......however relocating yourself away from sources of threat ( i.e. large cities, coastlines, etc.) may be the vital first step towards helping others later on.
You may have to return from your relocation in order to help the survivors of the events you yourself avoided.

Amen to that skyking. I live in western mass, just south of VT. I enjoy the snow storms, creates a nice rallying point. Its great to be around other folk who know how to do the really meaningful things in life, like chop wood, milk a cow or make a real pickle, you know?
Have you found many other like minded people over in NH, people ready to form a ground crew? I'm really just getting started with all this.

Hello! Southern Maine here. I've been following the work of Project Camelot for several months. I was wondering if any maine/new england posts would show up here! These are exciting times eh?
I am somewhat unsure of my exact plans other than to watch the movie unfold. I currently live in a 5 bedroom duplex with roommates. I care less about self preservation and generally more about helping others. I am by no means overly afriad or a nut, but I do have a 2 month food supply and a couple of firearms and other supplies. haha. Better be prepared so that when s*** does go down I don't have to worry about my own self preservation - I'll at least be set for a bit and I can keep my head level.
I am just very excited by our reality right now and the adventure that it entails. I think that life should be taken just seriously enough to feel compassion for others and want to help - but just not serious enough so that you are never scared and see life as a mysterious ride to be fully enjoyed to the max, even in the face of terror. I will go out smiling, even if nukes rain from heaven.
I have a blog that I keep at jamesirvinggreene.blogspot.com It basically explores the conspiratorial version of history, which, as we of all people know, is the correct view of history.
I like to follow the work of David Wilcock as well, and the notion that everything is a part of a perfect divine cosmic plan. It's hard to say if this is true, I have read and followed so much information in so many directions that I don't know what to think. But thats what makes it exciting.
Regarding the political arena, I've been a huge supporter and follower of Ron Paul and the events that he has been holding. It surely seems to be a second American Revolution in the works. I was thrilled to be a part of the march on Washington and rally in DC back in July.
Ever since I was a very young kid I've never been able to stop asking myself one simple question: "Is this really happening right now?" I would just repeat that over and over in my head when I layed in bed as a kid. "Is this really even happening right now?" "This" as meaning anything. Is anything really in existence? Why? What am I? - Not who am I, but WHAT am I? haha.
Anyway, I'm thrilled to network with some people who have open minds to the incredibly mysterious and strange phenomenon of life. Cheers.

I think people From Boston south will head south to warmer climates, leaving good 'ole cold NE to those that can cope with the cold. Yankees are a bit aloof until an 'event' happens that brings them together as neighbors. And don't forget that Yankee ingenuity!

How many would be willing to attend a face to face meeting, perhaps somewhere central to the region so that nobody would have to drive too far?

I've just started hosting weekly meetings in Portland, Maine to some avail. Most people coming are purely speculative and too controversial over topics to try to take anything seriously. In all honesty, they're focused on their own self interests at heart, capitalistic in nature.
Anyways, I think it would be a great idea to arrange a meeting in the coming weeks in Boston. That would probably work best as I don't drive and only work with mass transit.

I believe alot of people are 'turning on' but not in the numbers we hope for. Alot of my friends from New Bedford are more or less on the same page but i still think alot of us are just wandering what we can do. i think this website is truly the first step. i have alot of ideas so if you guys want we should all try to post at least once a week. -1love

By chance or fate I find myself living in the valley between the green and white mountains in the last couple years. I've been following Camelot's work throughout the summer. I've found George Green's testimony most interesting. However I remain a skeptic. Until a single prediction by one of Camelot's witnesses unfolds or a personal experience of some kind occurs, I'd rather not partake in any 'waking' exercises. I'm open minded but I can only believe in truth proven through facts. Until then, I'll practice my own co-creation efforts in private and focus on a better place for fellow americans.

This thread is starting to come along! Project Camelot has attracted some people with the right idea. I feel blessed to be part of this history in the making.
A meeting would be good. A casual get together in public for coffee or tea, for starts, to get to know each other a little. I would like to request not Boston, though. Since a lot of us seem to be from the VT, NH, ME area maybe somewhere a little more north and west than Boston, with good public transport might work.

New England rules, I can't wait for the snow. So are we starting our ground crew or what?!?!
We're in central MA, Marlborough to be exact, pronounced "Mahbro" round these parts!:yikes:
I guess everyone's new to this so maybe we should start with what we all do for work & what we're good at?
I'm good with fixing things mechanically... construction, electrical, plumbing, welding, appliance repair, etc. I'm a problem solver in that area. I play drums to entertain myself.

I 2nd that!! Because Boston is a pain in the ass. If everyone were able to meet around our area (Marlborough, MA -about 30miles west of Boston) we could arrange something. We are located right at the corners of Interstate 495 and the Mass Pike. And the trains run into Southboro & Framingham, which are the next towns over & we could transport whoever to & from there if needed.
Or if that's too far just say it:original:

Personally, I'd happily drive anywhere in New England just to get a chance to meet with some of the ground crew!
But I'll throw Manchester and Nashua, NH into the mix. Both are fairly close to the geographic center of New England and are easily accessible by car or bus.
I know of several casual restaurants in both cities that would be very easy to find and offer good facilities for a meeting.

nashua or manchester NH good call
About a year ago I attended a 911 truth meeting at a restaurant in Manchester. They were very accommodating and even gave us a separate room to meet in despite the fact that only 7 or 8 people attended.
It is one of those "Grand Buffet" type places featuring a wide variety of dishes and all you can eat for under $10. It is easily accessible, right off the interstate, and has plenty of free parking. If anyone is familiar with the location of the Mall of New Hampshire it is right across the street.
I would suggest something like a Saturday evening (when maybe more could attend?) in at least three or four weeks to give more people a chance to sign up for this forum and possibly attend.
If a half dozen or more people would commit to doing this I would be happy to speak with the restaurant and set it up. Thoughts?

Seems to me that the core of the group can stay exclusive if they feel they must, and expand through satellite locations infused with their technology, culture, infrastructure and choice personalities. These wouldn't have to be far from the original location or could span the new england region.
We can all help with this through the new forum

2.) At this moment, I'm checking out ooVoo for video conferencing, it's free. There's also a few other ones.
3.) There is also teamspeak to consider, and if someone hosts a server, we can have it up 24/7 (just voice chat, no video). I might be able to do that. Anyways, this may prove very useful it keeping each other informed, but also lead to consistent conversation and exchange of knowledge. And this way, we can have as many users as possible. And no, I am not a gamer lol.
4.) And yes, the world is going crazy.

Jay&Nikki - How does one get to the networking group that you say you created on this forum?
This is great guys, I'm excited to meet some of you. I'm absolutely down with meeting up sometime in the relatively near future - maybe somewhere in New Hampshire? I guess wherever is the most central to us all would obviously be best. I think avoiding inner Boston is a good idea as well.
I am from Portland Maine and I drive a very gas efficient 2 door Honda that can fit four or five people. I'd be glad to offer transportation if need be. I know that Gregor is from Portland as well - Anyone else from this general area who might be interested in car pooling a trip? I wouldn't mind picking others up on the way if we organize. It'll be an adventure man.
Cheers, James

Ya that would be great Irving. I don't have a car so yes, excellent. You have my commitment then.
Here's ooVoo benefits btw:
Standard Free
* FREE 3-way live video chats.
* Unlimited video messages.
* Up to 1 minute of video message recording.
* Some fun video effects.
Premium $10/month (new accounts 1st month free, as in just signing up, no purchase or anything)
* 6-way live video chats.
* High Resolution video.
* Unlimited recording of video calls.
* Up to 1,000 minutes of video storage and streaming.
* Unlimited video messages.
* Up to 5 minutes of video message recording.
* Lots of fun video effects.
So this service we could use easily for the first month, and we can always be cheap & maybe get new accounts again, or find a better service.

Give him a call! I called him for health advice and left him a message and he called me back and left a voice message that was like a mini NutriMedical Report show customized just for me. haha. It was pretty cool and free as well. I have emailed him about health advice as well and he has promptly responded - as for non-health related things, there is only one way to find out.
Even if someone thought that all of this stuff was rubbish, I would still recommend that Grenada Lecture because it is riveting!

Maybe we should get the discussion going about what to do if times really do become ruff. My personal concern is that I am not ready financially because I am still in college. It's my last year. So I will be trying to make the best of my resources to my full potential. It's very difficult seeing as I only work part-time.
Anyways, there are many alternative communities that already exist within the united states that we should all do some research into as to how they operate regardless of whether or not you choose to move out of the U.S. Also survival technique books and plant and animal books should become resourceful as well. I would definately invest in canned goods and water filters.
At the same time we are trying to prepare for anything the physical plane throws at us all of us should be trying to evolve ourselves spiritually for the current and future changes in the planet. Look into meditation techniques for the purposes of unlocking your chakras. As George Green said this could be the prison planet that is about to embark on it's judgement from the hierarchy so we definately want to be ready if need be for a ascension of consciousness of both the physical and spiritual plane. The uploading and downloading he talks about with the waking state and the dream state. We must have some kind of balance as spiritual beings. Remember, all of us are co-creators and have a responsibility in this plane for development. That is why we are given free will. Now that alot of us are awake there is definately work to do. Waking up isn't the final destination it is what you do with the tools you have been given.
Please keep posting and let's get some sort of game plan going.

I'm new here...I'm in R.I. Gregor, my parents are in Lovell, Maine, so I'd just scoot myself and family up to their big old farmhouse when TSHTF. It's a fairly high elevation, lots of water nearby, and just feels "safe" for lack of a better thought-out reason.
One of these days, I should get a camera for this old machine; I think video-conferencing would be a good idea.
What saddens me with thinking about this stuff: I have a brother in prison sentenced to 15 years, 10 to serve. My little state isn't much higher than sea level...and he cannot escape any major catastrophic weather event.

Does anyone want to shoot for a video conference tonight at all? I feel things are paramount, as we all probably do, and there are some things I really want to start sorting out right away.
My large focus at the moment is a safe zone, and establishing this safe zone. It doesn't matter if I know what's going to happen, and I have a bunch of survival supplies if I don't know where to go.
First off, there's a rumor that the reason there are a large amount of Seven Day Adventists in Maine is because during the end of days, it is a safe haven.
Anyways, my intuition has been telling me to stay in Maine, but go North. There are two areas that have really come to my attention. The Eastern portion of the White Mountains, just across the NH border, but North of Newry, Rumford, and Sunday River. This would include the Grafton Notch and Rangeley Lakes Region. What is interesting about this, Willian Reich had his lab for some time in the Rangeley Lakes region, were he conducted his studies on Orgone, had exchanges by mail with Einstein, and even saw UFOs. There is a UFO/Conscienceness Exhibition there actually this 20th. I really wish I could attend.
The second area is Mt. Katahdin and Baxter State Park, about an hour plus North of Bangor. The area, besides hikers, is rather remote and untouched, plus its state owned. Mt. Katahdin is the tallest mountain in Maine and has some very interesting myths revolving around it from the Abeneki and Penobscots. One seems to be rather akin to the story of Jesus Christ, and another seems to portray it almost as entrance to the World Beneath (Hollow Earth). The largest known cave in Maine is also located on a remote part of Mt. Katahdin. The famous Alaghash abductions, along with another famous abduction happened not to far from this site also.
So, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in scouting out Mt. Katahdin, specifically this cave, and see if it presents us with anything. And yes, I know it's quite an undertaking. Also, I'm working a lot with my intuition here, so I recommend highly you try to do the same. It seems to be the only true thing going for me right now.

Gregor, Do you have anyone else organized to check this out? Or are you starting from scratch with just yourself? It sounds fun and totally interesting. If you wanted to go in at least 10 days from now then I would definitely be down. That hand wound I was telling you about needs to heal a bit first, but I'm 100% in. I wouldn't mind driving either. I've got a small hatchback that can fit whatever we need and is good on gas.
Are you thinking of camping out? I'd be very interested to check this cave out as well. I think tenting it and possibly having a low-key fire in the wilderness and under the stars would be rad - especially knowing that there have been UFO sightings in the area. What kind of a hike are you anticipating to get to the cave?
Have you ever read or heard any of Michael Tsarion? I think that he is right down your alley.
It's funny that you say what you have about going north if you are to stay in maine. I have been thinking the same thing, especially and obviously staying away from the coast. Your two ideas, information and incredibly similar attitude is meshing uncannily with mine. I have a good deal of survival/camping equipment on hand as well. I always keep my gas tank on full and am ready to ditch town whenever need be. I'd love to scope out a possible go-to spot with you.
I am not prepared with any of the necessary equipment to have a video conference, so you will have to count me out on that.
I think that timing and ideas are coming together in perfect time. If you're down, lets meet up some evening this week and talk.

I'm in for a video con today or tonight............I got my palbee account setup.....what service do you want to use?
Gregor, your post gave me an idea;
Given our various locations and expertise, I suggest we create sub-groups of our NewEngland Community. Volunteers Needed.
>>> Scouting Team: Those who are already in the areas most of us are interested in and have the time and resources to mount expeditions that can be video doc'd and shared with us.
>>>Resource Team: Those who find themselves in a position or profession to locate or create resources for the group effort. This can be anything from bio-fuel production, tools, information, transportation, communications, agriculture, etc.
FIND YOUR NICHE!
>>>Research Team: All the news hounds and local mythos experts can keep the rest of us up to date and informed.
>>>Special Ops Team: These can be the go-to people who have locations and resources already in place, who can help small groups in case we get caught off gaurd.
You know what........I'm gonna create a website right now where we can post these vid cons, other vids, information, etc.

Hey, tomorrow night - Monday, 10:00PM EST, how's that sound for everyone? If there's alot of people interested, I recommend we do TeamSpeak, as people with just mics can participate, and its absolutely free. It's conversation that is the most important part, and yes, more the merrier. So if you can make it & want to participate, post here, and let us know if you have either a mic or a webcam. Thanks!
To come to think of it, a permanent team speak channel for us might help out really well, as that would provide a platform for permanent continuous conversation. However, that means we'd need a permanent server.

Hey New Paradigm Guy,
I am interested in the Oct. 4 meeting in Manchester. I'm near the VT border in southern NH. Just returned from camping in Jamaica, VT area...a scouting/recon mission to check out the area/terrain.
Reading the various posts here, I am feeling, intuiting that there are several potential safe spaces, radiant zones in the New England area...and they are most likely in and around the White and Green Mtns. Mountains are key, with us inhabiting the valleys, the niches of the ground crew. Many questions as to how we would all interconnect and network, when the infrastructure begins to shift in earnest.
I am in flux and have some definite flexibility of circumstances now. I caretake a property, six acres with a pond, surrounded by wetlands. It is very private here. It is a place where people could meet, with potential for short-term camping. I'm just throwing that into the dynamic mix for the future.
The video conferencing and teamspeak? are initial modes of communicating I suppose...I personally lean strongly towards in person meetings when the group(s) are more formed. I have to be in the presence of others to be able to deeply intuit whether there is the potential for working and preparing with others. Anyone else feel that? I'm not dissing technology, it's about looking into the eyes of another, feeling the energy fields of others.
Please let me know in a private message if the meeting Oct. 4 is going to go down.
Peace

Hey Kusula. Thanks for joining us! And yes, Teamspeak has an unofficial version that supports Mac, just look on their site (http://www.goteamspeak.com/?page=downloads). I was suppose to go to a festival this 3rd-6th, but as of today, I am pretty sure we're in for a ride, so I am going to have to opt out and join the band wagon to Manchester, so yes Irving, I am back on.
I'm going to say let's try to do a teamspeak server tonight. If anyone has a really good connection, it would be great if you could host, otherwise I'll plan on hosting. I have a cable connection which will at the very best just get through with 10 connections, but really more around 5ish. Thing is this we can also use the chat, and speak mic if wanted, and we can all here.
I'll be online until 10, which is when I want to begin, so just message me if you're in. My AIM is also itEndedHere.
I found a site that can also host our teamspeak server at $0.25/slot/month and its setup absolutely immediately. I even verified it with them by e-mail, and for 20 slots it's only $5.00, so 10 slots $2.50. And it would be permanently up for the whole month.
And there's always just using a chat room too if need be, which AIM has but theres other sites too.
GregorArturo

The server is up and currently running. You can download Teamspeak and easily connect. Just message me through Avalon or AIM for the IP address & password.
http://www.goteamspeak.com/?page=downloads
Anyone without a mic can still listen to the convo, and send text messages (chat) to all the users in the room still. Also note, most laptops do have a builtin mic on board in disguise, it's just this little hole somewhere, usually around the keyboard.

Thats terrible man. Sorry to hear that. I had a house fire last year as well. It was quite an experience. I hope that no one was injured.
The teamspeak session ended up being just myself and Arturo. I had no mic or camera and I typed while Arturo spoke into a mic. haha. It was an interesting way to try to communicate, but you didn't miss much. Perhaps sometime soon we can get a session going with more of us.

I have Wind and Solar Electric (with battery backup) and Solar Hot Water generation systems installed here on my property. I'm about 45 minutes north of Manchester, so feel free to stop by on your way to the restaurant meeting. You can check out all of the sites on the tour at either nesea.org or nhsea.org.

Hey all,
I'm an in-town Portlander who has been trying to figure out exactly WTF to do with all this information and feeling quite lonely about it.
I've been following B&K's work on PC since the beginning but have not participated in or followed much of the PC forum. I know very very few people IRL with whom I can carry on an intelligent convo on these topics, so I'm quite excited to see this site start up with the intent of creating regional networks for skill/resource sharing. Brilliant!
Unfortunately I won't be able to make the 4th, but I will do my level best to make the next event after that, assuming the chatter about the 7th doesn't manifest in a way that makes is impossible. I may also be able to bring along a few other like-minded, open-hearted souls who haven't really followed PC like I have.
4th aside, is there any interest amongst those within short distance of Portland for a more interim mini-meet, perhaps in a pub atmosphere? I'm available in weekday evenings most of next week. Anybody else?

I am sorry you feel lonely, but you are never alone. [that's number one] Secondly, I have not been very fullfilled with the New England Ground Crew { that is my experience] . As I think about it I rather not spend time on the interent , but I rather spend the time attracting, in deep prayer or meditation , these types of souls in to my life. I know i am worthy of it and you need to know you are worthy of it. The truth is you may or may not get what you are looking for as far as close friendships via project Avelon, but you will get information. New England rocks! I love Maine. Bar Harbor rocks!

Hi,
I've followed Project Camelot since its inception and have been reading UFO material since the late 80's. I was first introduced to the idea that there could be folks trying to control things back in 1974 when I was a teen after reading None Dare Call It Conspiracy by Gary Allen. Yet, I remain cautiously skeptical.
I also live in two worlds: the normal, typical suburban Boston dad vs. the information nut who is constantly searching, watching and listening for all things alien or conspiratorial. I discuss UFO topics with my friends as a fun SciFi thing, nothing more and superficially discuss survival / crisis / conspiracy only when initiated by them. It is somewhat lonely.
The only preparatory thing I have done is to buy potassium tablets for my family soon after 911 in anticipation of a dirty bomb. To do any more would mean that I believe there is an immediate term threat and I am not there yet. I suspect, there are many PC & PA lurkers who are like me.
I would like to drive up to Manchester to meet with you all if for no other reason but to see that you are real. I cannot commit to that however and suspect it will be a last minute thing. Please post the details on the 3rd, so that I know it will not be a wasted trip if I do go.
What are the characteristics of a safe place? It seems a valley with these characteristics would be best:
1) Clean running water
2) Protected from sever weather and biological and nuclear fall out
3) Fertile land that is able to sustain crops
4) Large wild life population
5) Wood or coal to burn
6) Far from the ocean
I'm not so sure the New England climate is best because we will have the additional burden of generating heat and the problem of limited food options in the winter.
What do the rest of you think. I'm sure you have much to add, please do.

I've always wanted to settle in Vermont or the northern area of New England but now I'm wondering with the bad winters. (and who knows how this will all end up swinging ie. warming vs ice age) in the long term I'm starting to wonder.
Beside that the growing season in upper NE is pretty short compared to the south, so I'm starting to rethink things probably too late now seems things are happening fast and my resources are not infinite.

I made the following post on the "All Things NewEngland....redux" thread to which Dr Tony replied in a profile message on my profile. He wants to discuss New Hampshire, and particularly Grafton, further, and this seems like the place to do it. My original post follows:
I was surprised when I mentioned the Free State Project at the meeting and nobody had heard of it. The Free State Project is a collective effort to convince 20,000 liberty activists to move to New Hampshire and work toward reducing the size and scope of government. Check it out:
http://freestateproject.org/
So far about 8700 people have signed up for the project and almost 600 have already moved here. I have met some of these people and find that we have much in common. They are free thinkers, and while most of them have probably not gone as far down the conspiracy rabbit hole as most in this forum have, they would certainly make good allies and neighbors.
Even in their relatively small numbers so far they are definitely having an effect upon the political and even social situation here. They have moved to all areas of the state, but they seem to be concentrating somewhat more heavily in the Manchester and Keene areas, and they have also started an unusual sort of intentional community in the tiny western NH town of Grafton.
They chose Grafton because many of the people there in Grafton already share the Free Stater's libertarian leanings, and they are simply moving there in ever increasing numbers. Their idea is to be enough of a voting block to help maintain the "small government" "hands off" attitude of the town government.
The intentional community aspect is different from many intentional communities because it does not necessarily include sharing land or co-housing. Of course it could include those things if people desired them. But they are mostly just finding places they like in Grafton and moving there. One guy bought a large parcel of land, subdivided it, and is selling building lots to other project members. So they end up with like-minded neighbors. A local barter economy has even started to develop using silver coins.

Hey Everybody...
The info and advice available here have been great. I am also glad to see that some of you have taken it past the talking stage and actually met in person. I am ready for ACTION as well. I would like to put out there in cyberland that I would like to host a meeting here on my farm in the Connecticut River Valley. I am a few seconds away from New Hampshire in the little town of Westminster Station, Vermont. I have heard some folks talking of a preliminary move perhaps to the Keene, NH area, before a final excursion into the woods.
With 11 acres (5 certified organic), a huge barn to store lumber/supplies, the possibility to have a root cellar,a vacant 1 BR apartment, an unfinished efficiency apt, fruit trees, bee hives, and much more to offer, I feel this place could be a great springboard for the right person/people.
It has always been my intention to have a very small and loose knit intentional community right here, but new developments have changed my mind, but...I think it might be a great place to gather. Just a thought. Anybody interested post to this thread and let the dialog begin!

Hey Fellow New Englanders
I have a suggestion regarding video and/or voice conferencing. I have been using a chat program called Paltalk for years...it is free to use, they have a paid subscription service as well which allows you to see multiple web cams live. It's very easy to use, setting up your mic is easy as long as you have a sound card, and who doesn't these days...if you have a softcam program you can show video as well...even without a paid subscription.
Anyone can open there own room, private or public. I use this chat program alot...i am a music nut and they have all kinds of room catagories from science to adult rooms...
If anyone may be interested in using this source to meet up more frequently...please hit me up...i will post the link here so you can check the chat program out ahead of time...
