overlooked resourse imho

hi everyone and if this is anywhere i apologize now cause i can't seem to read all the threads

i feel a greatly overlooked resourse is other people..your neighbors mostly

i mean, i don't have any gold or silver or a safe place to run to so i am where i will be when the **** hits the fan..in whatever way it comes
and
i am very lucky in that i have tried and i think mostly succeded in getting the neighbors on board in an emergency...all of the weather stuff has opened a line of conversation so that we can build on helping one another whenever we have to..
no we don't have any meetings but we talk to each other when we see each other, instead of just a wave in passing..we know who the other is

we are going to need someone at our backs and who better than those whe are already beside us...

and also i am heavily into what i can eatable landscaping...small fruit trees in the yard and veggies and herbs in the flower beds...along the drive are thornless tall blackberry canes and nut trees..

it is do*able
