A tool is being developed that I believe may be of some benefit to the ground crew in evaluating the hazards surrounding specific areas on the planet.
It is still in development but should be helpful in finding safe areas.
Given a location, either a city and country name, or latitude and longitude coordinates it attempts to identify hazards in close proximity. Hazards include nuclear power plants, military installations, large metro areas, uranium mines, etc. New hazards are being input daily as we data mine the internet for new site locations.
