ive never heard of it being a hoax and i know there are alot of sites you can purchase these from. my local coins shop has a display of 4 of these and they have had them since early 2008 according to the owners.

I agree that the Amero is real, however I don't believe think Hal Turner is showing a real Amero---minted by the US Treasury.....REASON: the coin bears the DC Coins logo:

I don't think we have seen a real one yet, I believe they are under lock, key and armed guard, and it's pure bull-krap that someone "smuggled" one out of the Treasury. Not possible, if so, we're in sad shape.

Now that we're in April '09...

Has anyone heard anything about this? Texas ix-nayed the NAFTA toll superhighway since this NAU currency story circulated last year. The NAU Triad with Canadian, US, Mexican leaders changed with the US election since too.

Canada still has one original SPP (NAU!?) amigo, the current Prime Minister Harper - heck, Minister of Public Safety Canada, Stockwell Day, even signed an SPP agreement with Israel (http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=8530) last year.
