Good piece but I think he underestimates Europes exposure to all of this. As Tim Rifat pointed out on a recent Jeff Rense show, in the US the banks are "worth" a fraction of GDP, in Europe there are banks that are worth several principalities and small country or two.

It´s not just economic though, is it? This is a war for minds and souls.
