I was just at back to school night at my child's school tonight. I find it suspicious that parents have to get fingerprinted and maybe a tb test just to volunteer at school functions. Did i miss someting? They say it's to weed out child molesters/pedophiles. what are your thoughtas on this? i think there's more to it...maybe it's just me...

How can they tell is someone is a peadofile, is it written in their Blood/genes?, It doesnt make sence to me unless they are referring to people allready on file, and surly these people would have already been processed and on a data base some where!.
I don't trust anyone asking for my Blood, DNA, or any other body sample to be honest, ask questions and if you are not satisfied with the answer, don't give so easily and question them again until you are feeling comfortable with their answer, if you are still not happy don't give it them.

Here in AZ it is required that you be fingerprinted if you want to work with children, even on a volunteer basis. As a nurse I can not even work in the same area that has a childrens unit with out a fingerprint card.
A TB skin test is not a collection process unless they want to draw a titer, and usually that isn't done due to cost. They are not going to collect anything with a TB skin test. I'm more worried about that chip in my driver's license.
