If food supplies become scare, each individual who is self sufficient is one less person who will be dependent on government handouts, and one less person clamoring for the governnment to "take care of them". The more people who are self sufficient, the less liklihood of a totalitarian regime gaining power

Excellent I was just thinking about this yesterday as a matter of fact. Thanks so much for posting.

I was also wondering what dehydrating does to the vitamins and minerals within food? They survive the process I take it?
