I just wanted to recommend this 3-book set to those that have an interest in how American history was molded and enjoy detective stories. Quick synopsis:

Peter Levenda's research into the occult links to the Nazis lead him to so much information that he had to divide it amongst 4 books - Unholy Alliance (http://www.amazon.com/Unholy-Alliance-History-Involvement-Occult/dp/0826414095/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_k2a_1_img?pf_rd_p=304485601&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-2&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=0975290622&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0GK5VR3SG9DPSF19654M) and then his 3-books "Sinister Forces: A Grimoire of American Political Witchcraft" (The Nine, A Warm Gun and The Manson Secret).

All three books grew from Levenda's curiosity into "The Manson Secret". The spiderweb he unveils is beyond mind-boggling.

Have you tried to buy a copy of 'The Manson Secret' lately? The publisher is out of stock and it is available on Amazon only from private dealers for $100 to almost $200. I saw one last week for $500.00. What's up with that?
