Love your work guys, and I will subscribe to help you continue your vital work. But the color scheme on this site:mfr_omg: Its hard to read and very hard on the eyes. The text is very hard to read any longer than a few minutes. White text on a blue background? :tears: We don't need all the fancy formatting. Is there any way of choosing an easier to read style? Whatever happened to white backgrounds? I have to turn page styling off just so I can read it, but that's not optimum.
Simple is better! Less pretty and more functional.
If you feel the same chime in. Such a shame to have the most important information on the Internet so overly formatted.

I changed the style in Minty in my control panel. Its a little easier on the eyes. Dreadful to look at but at least I can read it. Oh for the old days of simple formatting. Google has it right.

Thanks, Folks -
We appreciate the feedback.
'Minty' (You can change to it from the blue 'Electric' style with a little menu on the bottom left) is easier on the eyes (dark green on white). Check that out to see if that works for you a little better.
I think we'll create some simpler options for people who would prefer those - give us a few days!
Very best, Bill

Yes I like the blue layout, it's very sexy. I have not had any issues trying to read the text too. Good work!
Please don't change your site! I LOVE the Electric Blue!:wub2:

I like the Blue and the Minty.
I don't like White backgrounds.
Bright White backgrounds are a bit too much 'in the light' :mfr_lol:
And the old ATS gray background is too dull.
The Blue and the Minty options are perfect.
It's easy to add one more theme too.
Good things take time.

I have the English complex where we don't like things that change! The background will have to stay the same as it started! I'm just glad it didn't start off lime green and yellow ;)

No, no, no. LOVE the Blue.
This is a real comforting layout and technically advanced fluidity. It is not easy to produce one of these things if you are a time traveller from the future sent here to help out. Bill probably brought the blue with him from a future earth when blue was free again.
Fantastic layout.:lmao:

well I dont think its too blue-some of the news at the moment is though!:mfr_lol: Maybe a nice light pea green? Does it matter at this stage? I guess if its hard to read, fair enough. Maybe white on this colour blue is a bit :mfr_omg:on the mince pies (eyes!)

My issue is with those who select a highly contrasting colour for text against the blue background, like yellow for example, which is all but invisible for those of us who choose the minty colour scheme.
yellow print on the minty skin is all but invisible.

Simple solution for making text color more legible: drag over the text with your cursor to highlight it in a contrasting color and background. Try it!

What I'd really like is an option to make it look exactly like outlook without avatars so I can read as much as I can at work and not be too obvious :D

Hah! I thought my eyeballs were going to fall out trying to read black type on the dark blue background. I even uped the print size by 200 percent and was still having problems. Aparently for some of us there is a software problem where the type shows up black (I have a mac), yet on the HP laptop, the type shows up white.
My weary eyes thank you folks for the fresh, minty green color! :thumb_yello::thumb_yello::thumb_yello: That's a three thumbs up!
