Please take this with humour in hand-it's a video from an English programme that played pranks on unsuspecting individuals,in the traditional English way she offers the alien a cup of tea!!lol. What would you do?
Taken from Channel 4's '100 Greatest Funny Moments', this is arguably the most well-remembered Jeremy Beadle moment ever.

Arriving home to a meteorite in her garden, along with local police, scientists and the military, a farmer's wife helps welcome an alien being to Earth. Singing and offerings of tea ensue.

Dedicated to Beadle, who died from pneumonia at the age of 59 on 30th January 2008. RIP

UPDATE: The original, uninterrupted version of this clip used to be hosted on ITV's website, as part of a Beadle tribute section containing other videos of his best moments. The videos are gone, but the other things (articles and photos) are still here:

You have to hand it to the Brits - to be caused to act like a twit for millions of viwers to see, then to handle the embarrasment in good humour is a tribute to their resilience in stressful situations. :thumb_yello:

Yeah it was quite funny when initially aired-"Would you like a cup of tea?" creased me up!But yeah,i agree she took it in good stead, very admirable of her i think it was set up by her family so yer have to have a light hearted laugh at these things sometimes esp. whilst we wait forever for a disclosure we have to manage our time with a pee take now and again-i hope this has not offended anyone on here;i realise how some can take it in the wrong line of jest! lol.
