View Full Version : Marijuana Reform

The marijuana reform movement won two prized victories, with Massachusetts voters decriminalizing possession of small amounts of the drug and Michigan joining 12 other states in allowing use of pot for medical purposes.
Henceforth, people caught in Massachusetts with an ounce or less of pot will no longer face criminal penalties. Instead, they'll forfeit the marijuana and pay a $100 civil fine. Barnstable District Attorney Michael O'Keefe, who led opposition to the measure, called it "bad public policy."
The Michigan measure will allow severely ill patients to register with the state and legally buy, grow and use small amounts of marijuana to relieve pain, nausea, appetite loss and other symptoms.:rasta:

Salvia is extremely different. Instantly raises Kundalini within seconds.

Raises it in seconds? i doubt that very much. It does something alright i know ;). But it certainly isn't the rising of the serpent energies thats forsure. i think you'd have to be a little more hard working than just Bonging Salvia.

The seed that created much good before the Auto industry came along should never have been banned in the first place. You can look at this as a good thing but in my opinion this is a joke. It should just be legalized. The government can't regulate and make money so the people suffer. Amsterdam people have no problems with smoking as long as there not out in public, More Rules again. Two drunks get in a fight, but have you ever heard of two pot heads fighting. What's the harm of taking Individual responsibility?

Matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration,we are all one consciousness, experiencing itself subjectively, there's no such thing as death, life is just a dream, and we are just the imagination of ourselves.

I agree, pot should never have been outlawed. It not only increases your ability to see through their lies but it also has marvellous medicinal properties if used correctly. Alcohol and tobacco on the other hand have only negative effects - the reason they're allowed? Because they're produced and taxed by the same who deny us the reefer.

I saw something interesting the other day. Have a look at as many boxes of cigarettes as you can an look for any similarities (it's pretty small but on the front of the box). Then do some research as to where that symbol comes from.

absolutely correct! Well said bro.

Salvia does not instantly raise the Serpent.

and it is not something one is supposed to use on a regular basis, Like Cannabis can be.

Cool post Dan!! The Sun shall rise again eh?! :D

The marijuana plant absorbs 3 times more CO2 while growing than most trees, it grows anywhere and if planted widely would be the best thing to heal the earth's atmosphere. The hostility of the NWO, the UN and US governments should be enough to convince anyone of the benefits of this much-maligned plant which can be used for food, fuel, clothing and paper, an infinitely renewable resource http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=OmX3UQIbfXI, oh, I hear you can smoke it too for alleged psychoactive properties,
one love to all

Well thanks for the lessons guys. I had to alot of searching on the drugs you brought up. Boy am I out of touch.

I looked to see if marjuana would be on our ballots and I didn't see it. That ticks me off. I agree it should be legalized across the countries. Now we will just see what Obama does with it.

He wants to decriminalize for sure. I seen tapes on that speach

I hope that someday soon I am not questioned in a crime My computer searches would be so misleading LOL

Marijuana's beneficial uses far outweigh the negatives.... I've got a laundry list of medical issues, and had it not been for the medicinal effects of the tetrahydracannibanol, I probably wouldn't be here today. I know that sounds outlandish to some of you, but that's because our government has programmed us to believe that the effects of marijuana are more harmful than alcohol/tobacco/ect... I only hope that this wrong is finally righted in my lifetime.

in an interview on canadian national radio cbc yesterday morning, george grayson said 'sooner or later we have got to bite the bullet of either decriminalization or legalizing the possession of small amounts of drugs'. he calls for 'a more realistic approach', likens the war on drugs to the failure of american prohibition in the 20s amd mentions how prohibition caused organized crime. he concludes the interview 'i think were going to have to recognize the facts that people are going to use what are now illegal substances and better to have them sold perhaps through government stores rather than having them sold through the underworld'.
in the primaries, hadnt obama come out in favour of general harm reduction policy and lifting the ban on needle exchanges? he seems pragmatic, but i guess well just have to wait and see.

Join NORML if you are concerned:

Thirty five bucks a year - they bother my congressman all the time. I get letters that say, "Thanks for your letter, but the government makes too much money off of pot prohibition, so we'll just keep on keepin' on."

It's great!

Yes DMT sounds like a very interesting experience. I'd definitely like to try it sometime.
I actually had the chance to drink some iowasca in Belize, but sh*t, I was 18 and there for my senior project, it didn't feel like the best situation, especially since they told us that at first it would make us "explode from all holes" (literal translation btw).
I'm kinda glad we didn't do it though because we were allowed to just hang out w/ our hosts after they had drank the drink. They had apparently built up an immunity to the harsh initial stages they had warned us about, and as such they were fairly lucid and in a very aware/zen state. They conversed a bit w/ us at first, but very quickly one by one made their individual egress (from from the big bonfire we were around) leaving just the (semi) sober gringos.
So I'm just glad I didn't make a huge ass of myself in front of our gracious hosts.

If I had the chance again though at a (perhaps) slightly wiser age, I'd definitely check out the experience.
