CRISIS CHRONICLE
November 23, 2008, 5:21
Angry Americans protest
against U.S. monetary policy
While leaders in Peru grapple with the financial
fallout, Americans angry at the multi-billion dollar
bailout plans are protesting in Washington. They
say the U.S. Federal Reserve, far from helping
solve the financial crisis, is taking money out of
their pockets.
Today is National End The Fed day, and a
number of U.S. citizens concerned with the country’s fiscal policy have gathered in 39
cities nationwide at each Federal Reserve building saying that they are sick and tired of
being robbed.
“What bothers me about the Fed - they’re so secretive about how the monetary policy
is done. They just keep on printing more and more money and everyone knows you
can’t run a printing press and create wealth,” a protester in Washington said.

'Abolish the Fed' by Paul-Martin Foss
Remarks delivered at the End the Fed rally in Washington, DC, November 22, 2008, across the street from the headquarters of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors.
Original Article Here: http://www.lewrockwell.com/orig9/foss1.html
Excerpt: The Fed's manipulation of interest rates creates the boom-and-bust business cycle that we have become all too accustomed to in this country. At present we find ourselves moving toward the bottom of a particularly destructive business cycle. Our policymakers unfortunately do not understand the role of the Fed in the creation of business cycles. Instead of ending the Fed's manipulation of interest rates, the Fed is encouraged to embed itself ever deeper in the economy, involving itself in bailouts, creating new lending facilities, and acting as the guarantor of financial market stability. Until the Fed ceases its loose monetary policy, there will be no economic correction. There may be short-term improvements in the economy, but once the Fed's policy tools are shown to be ineffective, the end result will be a cataclysmic economic depression.
Recently the Fed has been heavily involved with the actions surrounding the Wall Street bailout, injecting trillions of dollars of credit into the financial system. Reserve bank credit is up almost 150% over the past two months, while the monetary base has increased 75% in that same time frame. If the people across the street don't get their act in gear, this country could face a hyperinflationary crisis the likes of which has not been seen in the First World since Germany in the 1920s. You all have undoubtedly seen photographs of people filling their wheelbarrows with paper bills in order to go grocery shopping. Well, I have two wheelbarrows already, so I'm ahead of the curve.

This is thought provoking.
Do you have any links that explain the difference between nationalizing the Fed and ending it? In other words, what unintended consequences we might face if we end it?
Or names of experts who talk about it?
Maybe we just need a plan on-hand and ready to put in place, for what the U.S. Constitution calls for regarding currency, to be implemented immediately upon ending the Fed?

Andy Gause. A Money historian. Patrick on "oneradionetwork" interviews him live every Wednesday in a show he calls the "real world of money" http://www.oneradionetwork.com All the shows are archived for free with optional donations if you find his material useful. I would say his guests are a great mix of aware researchers. I tend to listen to most shows on my MP3 to and from work on the drive which is almost a show's length in time. Andy Gause also has a facebook page... I'm sure he has covered this "nationalise the fed" topic AND a number of others...
One topic is the sovereignty of the being and not the "fake person" which is the corporation set up in your name but in CAPITALS. My "name" is not the same as my "NAME" which is a corporation they use to apply "admiralty law" to...
I was given this website to investigate... http://www.creditorsincommerce.com/
hope this helps... the more we investigate the more topics there are to overwealm us...

Americans Demand Legislation Bringing U.S. Fed Reserve to Heel
RUSSIA TODAY
American legislators want to discover more about the role of the US Federal Reserve in the global financial crisis. A Congressional committee has already voted for an audit of the country's Central Bank. For almost a hundred years the Fed has regulated interest rates and the amount of money floating around the US economy. Now Americans want to know where that money actually goes.

Do you honestly believe the Federal Reserve is the problem? Is not all of the power and authority with the people? Do you believe it matters what organization or group is in charge of monetary policy if we are unwilling or unable to take responsibility for educating ourselves and create/run a sound economic system? Are we not allowing the Fed to exist in the 1st place? Do you really give these international bankers that much credit? Awful easy to burn the witch, get drunk and wake up the next morning with NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO DO!
I would recommend we stop using the Federal Reserve as the excuse and the patsy for our own inability to take responsibility. There will always be another... likely more powerful having learned from the demise of its predecessor. The question is... did we learn anything? Are we not just waiting around HOPING some grand, positive light being steps in with a fool-proof plan and saves us once the Fed goes down? Do you think even the greatest plan ever devised will be self supporting and worry free? A plan is a fiction... a dead thing. It takes living people to secure liberty of any kind. Are you planning on deferring that responsibility or are you ready to take control? Do you really understand what that means?
So the Fed goes down. Then what? Mass chaos for a while... and in the middle of that chaos, what will be proposed to replace it? And by whom? Are you ready to assume the helm? What about the other 99% of the people? Yes the same 99% who are clueless and carefree... wards of the state. Are you prepared to take responsibility for them as well? Better get started, because you have a hell of a lot of catching up to do.
If you will please excuse me... I do not mean to be a cynic. My purpose is to get you to think. Don't get so focused on "winning" that you fail to realize what "winning" means.
If anyone would like resources and/or educational materials, please let me know.

Hi all,
Jonanthon makes a point here, untill people themselves become aware that
there is better way to organize monetary system there is not much hope.
There is a burden or conditioning what comes from our education and community structure that says: if you are nor a "expert" of certain field educated by system you cannot say anything about that particular field.:wall:
Thus people have given their power away and leave the matter to
"experts".:lol3:
So if you demand chance you better have alternative solution.:trumpet:
What comes to monetary reform.. there has been movement for
that at least hundred years or so. Well actually longer..
Some of its principles have been tested little here and little there and experiences have good, infact too good for small group of bankers.
This fight between privet issued money vs. goverment issued money has long
history. War for independence of US from British rule and banks was
exactly about this.
When British king Henry ask why there was no poverty in colonie at America
answer was that they issued their own money, result was of cource that
he send troops to stop that madness and less an a year poverty was
terrible and war was a result.
So, as a start to anyone who is intrested how present day monetary system
works and some alternatives to it watch:
