Namaste. The question "How many of you find yourselves logging on every day to keep your finger on the pulse of what is going on on this forum, or indeed in the world?". Speaking for myself without this forum and the whistleblowers. I would have lost the will live. Everyone I love in this world has died, left me, or just doesn't want to hear it or hear anything with a margin of truth to it.. So I agree with what you are saying knowing computers give off frequency. But some of us might be very lonely and not have any other way to make human contact.

You make a valid point, Judgemental... and I agree with you. In fact, I value Avalon more as a community (albeit online) than I do for the information. That makes it very hard to tear away from (and I'm not advocating that).

I'm pleased and grateful if it gives comfort to some through connections. I know it does for me too.

But I feel like it's a never ending wheel sometimes... and the PC will take every second and breath I have to give it. Those with slightly more discipline , families (or jobs!) will have breaks enforced on them throughout the day. Being in between jobs myself at present, the day is easily commandeered !

I totally know what the OP is talking about in regards to stepping away from the computer. I'm a gamer and when I"m not gaming..I'm on the forums and other sites or....actually working (!) on the PC. But if I force myself to walk away and do other things around the house, it feels like a weight has been lifted off me. I feel "free" for lack of a better word. But it is a two-sided coin as many have said....I'd still maybe be completely in the dark if it wasn't for the internet..and even with gaming, I wouldn't have many of the friends I do, all over the world, if it wasn't for that.
I think it's an energy thing with the PC, the draining feeling.
Anyway..that's me.

being in nature...mighty, beautiful, amazing Nature...helps balance body and spirit.

spending time away from technology, also allows the mind to sink deeply into the heart. ultimately, this is all we truly have: our heart's compass....
without my walks to the beach, i would feel half alive and disenchanted most of the time

Well, I can say that the experiment is to it's conclusion. One week away from Avalon. Not totally away from the PC though. It was tough in places I can tell you, to be on the internet and not dawdle along to my favourites folder... lol. Still, I made myself a promise and I kept it.

Sanity is returning , do NOT adjust your screen....

I just got hold of Eckart Tolle's book..the power of now... and have just started reading it. My answer lies in there... that desire...to speak on Avalon...it's not me...it's my mind...yak..yak..yak...there...see ? It's going again.. give it five minutes and it will entertain and amaze you all....

I know what you are saying but, really, we live in the most difficult times that the earth has ever seen. The urge to close the eyes and cover the ears is very strong and some will do that. People are going through a lot of psycolological difficulty these days. When that happens they turn to the people who they think might support them. For some that is Project Avalon.

I see what you're saying MK, but I don't think there's anything to be gained by filling your head with everything coming down the pipe on a daily basis.

I've done it, and I'm done with it. I'm not saying it's not true, and I'm not saying bury your head in the sand. On the contrary, I'm saying that by living in fear, or by living in preparation, and spending a large part of their time at the PC, some people will miss out on the basics of living a meaningful life.

I was one of them. Spent far too much time posting and reading. One thing I can say is this.. you cannot read, post...and build an unsinkable boat at the same time

A world of preparations is all about self..self survival . It is not about the many, it is about the few. I am choosing to give myself as fully as I can to those around me...and to myself.

I really don't need to read if this earthquake or that is caused by Haarp or not. It's like arguing how many angels can dance on the head of a pin.

If 'they' come for you, they will come for you...and you'll have to be very well prepared to not be caught.

Awareness is one thing, living a life as a slave to the screen is another.

If I'm right..and consciousness is the Big Daddy of them all...it won't matter what plans the 'evil ones' have...it aint' gonna happen.. for whatever reason.

If anyone feels their calling is to spend all their time on forums reading about all the things that are happening or could happen, I say fine..I did it myself for over a year. Just do what's inside of you. I'm just speaking what's true for me.

It doesn't have the hold over me it once had.

They're now saying they want troops patrolling in the UK...and, so ? Just what am I going to do about that? Nothing. I can't do anything about a headline. we're in for difficult times, for sure. I can talk about many things I've learned, to any one who wants to listen. But it ain't going to be my daily life any more....

Too much of anything can be a bad thing.

If it gets to the point of being obsessed then maybe its time to step back a little and give it a rest.

Ive had to do that too. Then when I came back I had a better perspective.

Thanks for sharing your view with me MK...

That's the great thing about forums that I like actually, it's a melting pot of views and ideas... no one is right or wrong in an absolute sense...but everyone is right from their own perspective. In seeing this, I've learned much about things I'd not even considered.

this thread is my own joke at myself for becoming a slave to the machine. I've since learned, in the last few days.. that this means being a slave to the mind. for it is the mind that controls us.

I knew I was on to something, but I wasn't sure what !

So I agree with you, people who are not awake, need to know, and those who are awake should not forget, but those who are awake, should also go and DO something too...
