Thanks - I sent an email out to Kerry, Bill, Gareth and Colin ... and may follow up with a phone call in a bit if no response.

Northern Boy, maybe your browser isn't set to refresh.

I called Kerry and she can't get in and she's going to look into it ... and she is taking off tomorrow for the long drive to move back to California.

It could be something as simple as the credit card on file has expired ...

Let us hope it is that simple and not the beginning

YEAH! We're back up.

I have no idea what the problem was ... maybe we will find out later.

I'm still guessing it was a payment glitch.

Some other websites seem to be having some trouble as well

Maybe some of the interwebtubes broke (again)

Maybe TPTB cocked up installing more spy gear on the routes to this site (again).

Or.... someone made a typing error (again)

A..

Re: Camelot site suspended?

This glitch...whatever it was...made me think of what I would do if the internet was completely shut down for an extended period of time. I decided that I would do a lot of reading and writing. Actually, maybe I should do that anyway! The internet is a real wild card! The people of the world can easily communicate with each other instantly. Information which would never see the light of day in the historical methods of communication are now easily accessed by people everywhere. This has both a danger and a benefit. The danger is that people will become too upset by an overload of disturbing and disruptive information. The benefit is that a true global community can be formed. When people are talking to each other on a global basis...I think it is harder to get them to fight with each other. Also, it is harder to hoard information...or control the world through brainwashing and manipulation. So...at some point...the PTB will probably reign in the internet...or try to anyway!
