I remember reading somewhere about links (not sure about that, exactly) between Charles Manson's 'Family' (thinking: Sharon Tate here) and some Hollywood/CIA types - heck, maybe even the US Army types? Some kind of white brotherhood.

pedophile is a person who enjoys having sexual acts with children, sometimes very young children. I do not know about polański's sexual life. we know only about this one case. I doubt it makes him a pedophile. it doesn't mean that a sexual act with an underaged should go unpunished. but don't tell me that they couldn't get him for 30 years. just check what his former accuser, now 40-year-old woman is saying....

Mr. Pedophile Polanski should be extradited back to the United States and get his just rewards. He ran after admitting his guilt and never came back.

Somehow, people think it is ok to rape someone underage and flee to another country to escape jail time? I care not about your status in society. You could be some power house politician, an actor or a bum on the street for all I care.

Polanski might be a great film maker but he certainly doesn't seem to be that great of a person for doing what he did and then running from the charges.

Looks like a lot of Hollywood folks are seriously out of touch with reality if they are throwing their support behind Polanski.

Seriously folks, I suppose all of those cold case/unsolved crimes should also be forgotten because it has been more than 10 years or 30 years before the criminal is found?

It isn't as easy as you might think to catch someone on the run. You do have to abide by the laws of other countries when you are trying to bring someone to justice.

Unless of course you want to send in some sort of black ops team and just have him snatched. Yes..that would really go well if it hits the news and besides..why the hell would they do that for some guy like Polanski?

Maybe if he were a evil never-do-well scientist on the run.
