Do not fall back into the two-party trap

They have set a trap, one that's very easy to spring.

They are going to prey upon the supposed "unhappiness" that exists within the populace. They will use this to get back into power. Once they are back into power, they will change NOTHING.

They had 8 years to reduce spending and solve other problems. They squandered it on endless war and corporate greed.

Do not be fooled like the voters in NJ were fooled.

Also, if you are an insider for the Republican Party, you should identify yourself on this forum.

Both parties have failed miserably. Do not use the negative energy created by one party to scorn another. It will only serve to distract you from the real issues at hand.

I don't see the point in this. There are members from other countries who have
no affiliation with US political system, and others who have no political affiliation at all
in addition those who identify with the major US parties.

Everyone is welcome.

I do see your underlying point in that we need to look beyond politics and
find the deeper meaning behind the events that are occuring. Politics is
relatively meaningless in the big picture.

I agree HJ, i don't remember what video it was but someone on here posted a vid (i think the vid was about h1n1 opposition)
and someone interviewed said the words 'unholy alliance of the far left and far right' as being the ptb/w's biggest fear.
And that struck me because of the word unholy as in 'how dare they gang up from both sides'!!

There's at least one member that seems to be serving the interests of the Republican Party.

We need to remember that the two-party system is a waste of our time and that the general public is full of ignorant, impatient people who will buy **** from both types of snake oil salesmen.

It just seems that the Republicans are trying to capitalize on it the most.

Re: Do not fall back into the two-party trap

Alex Jones and Alan Watt are good at pointing out that the powers that be use the left-right paradigm to keep us pointing fingers when in reality both sides are bought and paid for. David Icke's problem-reaction-solution applies here as well. The powers that be recruit and groom the candidates, control what they do once they're in office, and control the media. The problem is the term of office of the puppet, the reaction is the circus created by the media, and the solution is a new puppet with the other mask. Back and forth it goes.

Once we understand the scenario we also need to participate in our own solution.

I'm a constitutionalist... and for Ron Paul. F#%@ the Democrats and Republicans who have sold this nation and its people down the corporate big pharma/military war mongoring complex business down the preverbal river.

What about if we're an insider for the Democratic party?

I know it is all a game, bread and circuses to keep us distracted, but I still enjoy it when some Repubs or arch conservatives get slapped around, like in NY23.

I used to think Republicans don't care about people but I don't think that way anymore.

I think the stated ideals of both parties are good.

They seem to care more about money and saving money and letting insurance companies run amok over folks that can't afford health care.

At least Bernie Sanders is there to point out that even people on the Left (including me) are unsatisfied/unhappy with the bailouts.

I'm not sure what constitutes "responsible" spending, since there are so many ways you can slice that pie. I value compassion and empathy over saving a people a few pennies. When people complain about the social services budget in this country, they overlook the size and scope of the defense budget, which dwarves the social services in this country.

Health Care should be non profit and the government out of it. Look, everyone in the USA can get health care through a kind physician who will work out a payment plan or barter system. I know them. If this isn't happening where you are, I wish it could change for you. Any emergency room in the USA will take anyone who needs help.

My doctors put the Hippocratic oath above all else.

Also the social services budget exceeds the defense budget by about three times. However, that doesn't include the black books.

From Bellisland's husband,

No one has to identify themselves as anything. If you prefer to identify yourself as a liberal, that's your business. But don't insist that others must state their political affiliation.

There are more than two political parties. Libertarian, Conservative, Democrat, Republican, Independent, etc. etc.. And, we have a secret ballot system.

And, the defense budget is the reason you have the freedom to say what you wish on the board and in public.

Sincerely,
FirstReconUSMC (The Husband)

Ridiculous and false...hospitals don't barter. And the social services budget should be 10 times the defense budget, in my opinion. Killing should not be our top priority.

This isn't about party, it is about caring for human beings.

So get off your whining butt and accept the fact that you do not control this board. And, the defense budget is the reason you have the freedom to say what you wish on the board and in public.

Guys...the whole thing is faked anyways...

Ron Paul was the only political candidate with a soul and he got 0 coverage.

Politics and religion if you want to drive a group apart.

The system is broke...Don't work on the system...WORK ON THE SOURCE

Peace

I am a free human. I have no alliances with any party, race or creed. I have only an alliance with mankind and my only agenda is the betterment of it.

Im pretty sure we as a race have advanced far beyond politics. When each person takes responsibility for their education, health and spirituality and then passes that wisdom on to their children the word politics will not only be obsolete but considered primitive to the highest degree.

I think it's funny when conservatives don't think they're conservative. :lol3:
